Great insight, yours still don't really stick out. I prefer the look of the 10.5's, but the second pic still looks good.

For my truck I'd almost have to stick with skinnys since its my dd, I drive around 40k miles/year, plus 4cyl with only 4:30's.

I think ultimately I'll be going with 32x11.5

But I don't feel right putting them on a 7 in wide rim.

per the manufacturers specs you can't. I know you physically can, but know they all say 8" minimum rim width for that size. I would have liked that size too, but I don't want to have to get new wheels. I like the stock 15" alloys.

I had 32x11.5's before my current 33x12.5. I really liked the 32's. I eventually wanted to go up to 33's but couldn't find anything for a 15" rim other than 33x12.5 in a tire that I liked. 285/75/16 is the ideal tire size IMO.

    Yup.

Which is why I just bought brand new 31x10.5s even though I'm putting on a lift.

Rigged up a 32" led bar that I got from one of my buddies Brandon and I wired it up to the battery with just wire nuts and crimped ends and it works but I need to get a switch and relay for it. Anyone know where I can get one from cheap?

    4cyl problems....

In reality I like the 33x10.5 size, but the offerings are slim.

You can find a few 255/75R17 but 255/85R16 are almost non existent.

Meh, just painted the wheels black.

Really shitty job - probably my worst ever. Which sucks because this was the painting project I looked forward to for years.

It was tough to get a good angle on the stock 15" alloys that enabled me to get into all the nooks and crannies of the spokes while laying down an even coat.

Plus it was very hard to get into the texture of the spoke walls (hard to explain).

Not to mention, even in my garage cottonwood is flying and getting caught in the zinc chromate, primer and paint.

Oh well... hopefully it passes the "10 foot" eye test.... at least now I won't give a flying turd when I got wheeling and scratch them all up.

Even siped km2's wouldn't cut it in the winter, especially up in Maine. KO2's are meh, I'm waiting to see what the new ko will look like. 255's are an option, but they're so damn heavy. Ideally a 33x10.5 in load C is what I'd like in an aggressive at with siping for the icy slick snow we get. Pipe dreams though

That could very well be the most unintelligent rediculous reasoning behind not liking wide tires I have ever heard.

I've seen my truck from the outside in the hwy when my buddy was driving it, and with my 33x10.5s (on whatever 7" factory wheels) it looks like a guy running down the road with no arms, super freaking stupid.
    X2!!!

12.5s aired down to 6 psi was sex in the snow. It worked sooo well.

But really what's the point in getting into an argument over this shit, everyone thinks their option is right and Nobodies mind will be changed untill they run both for themselves
