    Don't need a machine for the diff service since our diffs have a drain plug unlike the Fords, Chevys and Dodges...

    Doing a drain and refill service is pretty easy easy on our trans. Doing a flush yourself at home is also fairly easy..

    There's an awesome writeup on how to do both here at Tacomaworld that have a ton of great info and are easy to follow

    I did mine recently by dropping the pan and refilling .

    That's true but I am not sure on how to get the fluid level correct. It has to do with temperature. If you don't get it right good bye trans and at the cost to replace a tranny I would rather have the dealership on the hook for this.

    Diff is pretty easy

    I used the Torque App and my Android phone to monitor for the correct temperature, was pretty easy overall for the whole procedure.
