Hey guys, bout time I get on here... Got myself a 2007 Tacoma Pre-Runner Quad Cab... Nothing done to it yet, but I will be getting pretty hardcore on this... Got myself a GT28 Garrett Turbo laying around so toying with the idea of an STS setup... Until then, Its time to save up for all the parts for this little project.

What kinda good cheap mods do you suggest for the time being? (already read a couple 'cheap mods' threads, looking for suggestions)

Well, I work down off County Line Rd & I-25, but Live up on 120th & Washington St... So I have quite a commute, and needless to say, I drive all over creation

Well, since is a RWD truck, I am looking for some performance mods which wont totally negate my off-roading but give me some decent sound and get-up. The truck is quick as it stands, intake, and I think a tune (which I was told) but considering that bullshit until proven otherwise.

Kap, You know of a good place to get a good custom box made? Car Toys wanted 300 for a friggin box, and I found a box on ebay for about 89 bucks (discussed in another build thread on this site)... Maybe something local?

 

A buddy of mine used to make boxes back in the day, I can ask him if he still does. Are you lookin for it to go between the back seats? 89 might be the cheapest

 

Yeah, I got two tens, shallow, and a real nice amp, maybe ill just break down and pay the 89 bucks.

haha, I wonder what it would take to convert to 4x4... Transfer case, Tranny (prob not?), front diff, wire harness, shifter bezel & shifter?
