Complete OME kit w/ 881's and dakars. All-Pro Sliders, CB, HAM Radio and various other minor stuff.
3.5 hours and my complete OME lift is done.

Will have pics tomorrow but I now have 881's, Dakars and OME shocks/struts all around. Not bad for only using hand tools. I have to wait until tomorrow for the test drive as I've had a few "celebratory" drinks.

Close to mine. On a strait away going 65mph my engine load is about 45%. Glad to know its normal.

Sometimes it feels like the trans should shift into the next gear but my engine load is low and the RPM's are around 2100 at 65-70mph. I have 33" km2's but the feeling of the trans needing to shift into one more gear only started to happen after I added the 100+ pound relentless bumper. I'm thinking about turning the ECT button ON and trying it on the highway to see if that helps at all.

Is it bad for the trans if I drive for a couple hours on the highway with the ECT button on?

I'm guessing with the 125#'s of bumper on the front end my trans thinks I'm towing at all times.

Okay, these are the pics I have right now. Sorry for the iPotato pic quality:

Rearend being taken apart. I don't have any pics of the Dakars yet. I did steal someone elses idea of using ratchet straps to hold and locate the axle during leaf install. Made swapping out leafs a breeze.

    No
I've driven with the ETC on some and the only thing I noticed is slightly worse MPG and lower trans temps.

I'm tired of my 4.56, slow AND poor mpg. Need to go one way or the other so I can get at least one benefit.

my 4.56s were fun for awhile. Then I added the armor and a winch. Now it wallows a bit more like a pig in a sty.

Manual though, the auto is gross. I get 15mpg on a good tank with 32s. 18-19 would make me super happy haha
