Hard Times Monday Night Meet is DEAD; the owners of the shopping center have had the police out there the last two weeks. Not a fun time. It's over.

 

The Fair Lakes one is alive. Skygear and I , and a couple others made it out last night. This is the one behind REI - Fairfax Corner.

 

i was there too. saw the jackass in the nissan frontier (i think thats what it was) do donuts in the lot. thats why these meets get shut down.

Yeah I missed that. Some young kid tried to act tough with Skygear and us (when Skygear was showing us his LEDs), and he backed away pretty quickly once he realized his friends didn't follow him over, and we weren't backing down. Damn young kids.....

Hey Skygear, that same kid acting tough, went up to my friend and his Jeep (guy in the black shirt - former Marine) and asked about the Jeep. My friend asked him "I'll answer your question if you stopped acting like a tough guy". It was funny!! The kid didn't know what to say after that..... it was comical.

 

LOL - I'm going to start keeping my GoPro on at these meets from now on. Just for the lulz.

You guys missed the dogs and steak. Looks like a couple guys from Expedition portal are planning on making it to the next meet monday and the FJ guy from the previous week. Should be a good one.

 

Cool...I should be there next Monday. I'll bring the Tacoma this time around...

Do people just try and start fights at these things? I passed out last night but hopefully will come in two weeks.

Side note, anyone off tomorrow and feel like doing some electrical stuff with me? gonna be chilling in my garage drinking beer and stripping wires and soldering my life away

 

Fighting =- Well, have to remember what the age group of most of these people are. YOUNG. Under 21.( I understand that age is no excuse, it is a maturity thing ) They still think that the aggressiveness is socially acceptable and thats how adults solve problems. People still think theres something to prove, and it ups their social status.

Soldering =- What time? I made plans with some of my buddies to make a PA run for some fireworks. We planned on leaving at 7am, then getting back whenever the traffic allows. Already have a few hundred in mortars, but they want more.

I wouldn't mind, just can't make any promises due to the holiday traffic,.

jeez, sounds like a bunch of clowns.

Will probably be working on my stuff just pre wiring for my bussman box and cleaning up my existing wiring job (which is a total mess) around 2-6 - gonna run the trigger wires for the relays and try and just clean it all up and stuff, maybe add a temporary relay for my bumper light bar. i still have to order the parts im building 5 of these stupid things

 

Building 5 of the RFRM's? I assume for people on other boards?

 

I should capitalize on that too. Take pre orders and get a bulk order out.
