My lights need to be aimed! They all work, but aren't pointing exactly right. Where in this apartment complex is a flat place and a wall I can point towards?

Two Hella 4000 spot beams (HID) and two Kragen HID Euro beams against my former garage wall. One of the Kragens broke so I have a Cibie Super Oscar with a 100 watt halogen in its place.

I haven't aimed my light bars yet either. I will do it once I'm out in the dirt. It should only take a few minutes.

You coming? I plan on leaving the complex around 530 if you want to roll with.

What are some places you want to run out there? When are you coming back or are you crashing until Sunday morning? I may hang with you the whole time or bail, but I am flexible! I am familiar with most of the areas... including Split Mountain and Diablo Dropoff as well as Devil's Slide and most anywhere. Prefer 4WD only stuff, but some fast sand washes are great too!

Quick question for you guys especially any of you military guys who've been in VA. Me and my wife are both military and moving to work in Portsmouth and Norfolk VA but probably living in Chesapeake. Anyways ive got a lifted 4x4 Taco im not worried about but how well would her 05 T4R 2wd fair out there in the ice and snow as I'll be on deployment alot and she doesn't particularly like driving my lifted truck haha.

Also were putting new tires on the T4R this week looking at the 1. Duratracs
    2. Goodyear wrangler adventurers w/ kevlar
    3. General grabber AT2
    Any thoughts?

I was in Quantico and think you will be fine with 2wd and good tires. Driving skills go a lot further than having 4wd.

That sounds like a plan... If you never been, then I can act like a tour guide! LOL

There are just endless miles of dirt roads and mud (dry) hills, washes, etc. Perhaps a repeat of the run we did with the other Matt (RecklessTaco) when I pulled James up the Diablo Dropoff (You Tube link in my sig)? PM sent with my phone and 10-20 here.

Here are my photos of that run: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/so...-min-trail-run-backcountry-10-15-11-a-11.html

Of course, that was a daytime run. Anyone else, Frank maybe?

Just don't cross into Mexico with your guns or ammo!!! I-5 drives right into Mexico, so pay attention to all the signs saying LAST USA EXIT and other obvious warnings!

Kansas City is 10 times worse than where you are going weather wise. The flooding is way worse than the ice and snow. Whatever tires you get make sure they are wet weather tires. And by wet I mean float. Lol

Not my first time in SD :) Go there every year for some amount of time to either Point Loma or North Island. Furthest south i care to go is to Imperial Beach and thats usually only when there is a jumper on the bridge.
