Im flattered by the reception

your state is constantly submitted to the wrath of god. hes punishing you all for being stoned 24/7
On it. And i expect constant BS, so bring it on!
    FTFY

sounds like my favorite kind of plans!
It doesent really matter where or how they are left, I just need to get the plan down so I pass the same place going in and out. For WYO last year I started the trip a different place than where I ended it and got back a different way. If I am going in and out of the state the same way then I will try to pull a moab and drive down on the ats

    You sir are absolutely correct
They are loose plans, such as the ones above :D
I am excited...therefor I am going to basically commit myself to this adventure. Lets do it.:yay:

Where are some easy (but fun trails) that I can do in a stock Tacoma near the Springs? I think it would be easier to convince my wife to cough up money for parts if she sees how they could benefit us LOL.

also has some spots that you can show off your suspension and explain how it needs to be improved :D

i recently went up Mt Baldy by cripple creek and that area has some trails that you'd be able to spend a day on

    http://www.traildamage.com/trails/index.php?id=233

Ran it on the third and it was great! Would probably do it again this summer.

I love the trails like that where you can feel badass by what your truck CAN do then other parts where you are telling yourself "I know I could do that if I had a ______ (insert mod here)". That got both me and my wife on board for building the truck. Win.

Any more planning on this yet? I would love to do the Empire Loop, but just BM is pretty short and not overly exciting, especially if you can't get to the lake yet.

    I'm here. :D

Yeah pretty much what everyone said. lol Metberry is doable, there's Gold Camp Road (but it's more scenic than an actual trail and you'd have to go in the back way since the route from the Springs is still closed), Baldy (which I havn't done since I was really little so I don't remember how that is.

My list of trails that I'd like to do at some point are: the Gultches (again), Holy Cross, Wheeler Lake, Chinamans, and MSV (since I've never done that).
