If you're not running 20's then it's not a big deal.

I haven't been up there in a few years and I know some of the trails have changed with rain, it would be good to have someone lead the way who has been up recently

Oh? Then you will need to show us... The Twin Oaks access up to the Drug Airport was gated last time I checked, so have been going in from the cul-d-sac past the AM/PM at Deer Springs ever since. Here's satellite maps, and photos of three of us playing up there a couple years ago:

LS1-T56 swap, Z06 ported heads, cam, Titanium valves, Kevlar clutch. Now building a forged stroker (383) and all the ponies! Old setup was rod-knockin on heaven's door...
I ended up having to do the same thing for another buddy who had the same problem as well. Like I said I used small FI hose clamps on my off-road buggy and they worked better than the crimp clamps did even. Anyway lemme know if I can help you out buddy..damn boots!

I was there yesterday riding my dirtbike (AF500), did 20 miles of playin around its super slick and rutted like hell in a lot of places but the main trail is still OK, and they put up some fences at the Quarry entrance! But if you drive up the road the pipeline access road is doable but only on a dirtbike as you have to go between 2 rocks and only has about 6" of clearance.

It was kinda hot at first when I was bulldogging it through some dead end overgrown trails trying to find a new way out of the quarry into the fun stuff until we found another way, went up every possible trail only to get turned back on all of them, was fun scouting!

I am new to San Marcos, and I have heard of this spot by AM/PM off twin oaks. I live on Twin Oaks and would love to check out this area sometime. What kind of trails are there now?

I'm having a hell of a time getting the 3rd plated end washer to sandwich in between the coil bucket and the bushing when installing my Icon UCAs...there doesn't seem to be enough room to get that 3rd washer sandwiched on the rear pivot of the UCA...anybody got any tips/trucks for this!?
