Forgot to mention. Reset tripometer after each full fill. Some tires are taller than others so calculations with RPM and diameter will get you very close. Remember, your tripometer is using math, not real world measurements.

I'm getting 19 MPG with 2TR and OME suspension with stock 4.10 gears. Phoenix is always a mix of highway and city so that's pretty real world.

I'm getting rid of my 255's so if anyone needs one as a spare let me know. They are maxxis bighorns mounted on 1st gen trd alloy wheels painted black.

I'm on my phone so I can't post pics but there's some in my build thread.

Thinking $100 each, not sure how shipping would be, but willing to find out.

02 Tacoma, fixed with curse words.

On my 02 i run 32 up front and 25-28 in the rear, anything higher in the rear they get very poor grip especially when its wet. I do mostly city driving with the truck empty, if i have a long road trip ill bump them up to 35 front and 35 rear to offset any extra weight and squeeze some better gas mileage out of them.

There's another tire that just came out recently in this size that is not on that ^ list

    The cooper ST Maxx

It's one of my favorites in this size just going by looks. I never ran this tire but I did have the cooper st which I liked for all types of terrain

I have a set of the Cooper ST tires in 255/85R16. Works good off-road and is really good on the street as it is a less aggessive all-terrain pattern. On the highway these are quieter than the Goodyear Dura-Trac tires that I also have in 265/75R16 on another set of wheels.

If you look at this size tire you wil find the Cooper SST Max is more agressive looking and the BFG even gnarlier. Ask yourself what percentage of the miles you drive are on pavement versus agressive off-roading and match that to the tread pattern. I do like the looks of the KM2's but don't think they will perform on the pavement like a true all-terrain tread. It is your choice.

Thanks, I've actually owned KM2s before and that's why I'm a bit hesitant. I'm not sure exactly why but it must have been a combination of limited sleep with a short wheel base jeep and those tires, but it felt absolutely horrible in snow and ice.

Definitely looking for another good AT again, those Cooper SSTs look pretty good

Hey guys i just got a set of km2's sitting on full ome with (885's up front) and LR UCA's. I've noticed the vehicle feels pretty squirly at highway speeds 65ish and up. 60 and under they're great. This is my first lifted truck and MT tires so just wonderig if it's normal. Alignment looked good to me 0 toe +1 caster +3 camber. I've noticed it gets sucked into the tracks in the road. it's semi difficult to drive a straight line as if i'm constantly being pushed around by the wind. Just wondering if this is normal because of the tread pattern or the changed aerodynamics of the vehicle. Lift and tires went on a couple days ago so if it's as simple as me just needing to get used to the new characteristics of the vehicle, thats all of an answer i need. I searched but didn't find what i was looking for and there's too many pages here to read through all of it so pls let me know what you think

Bad alignment. 0 Toe, 0 Camber, +3 Caster is where you want to be. Those are also a LT tire, so make sure tire pressure is up around 40+ PSI.

Anyone had problems getting alignment to spec and then having the yellow Slip Indicator light come on? Toyota wants to charge me $128 to diagnose, and then maybe another $400-500 to fix the sensor. I call bs.

That's a simple computer re-calibration, right? That's what I was hoping would easily happen. MonkeyProof suggested cleaning the sensors, so I may try that first.

The VSC is supposed to be recalibrated after an allignment

There is a pdf file in the first post with the recalibration procedure in this thread

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/suspension/41215-lift-vsc-answer.html

    1. DESCRIPTION

    (a) After replacing the VSC relevant components or performing "Front wheel alignment adjustment", clearing and reading the sensor calibration data are necessary.
