I'm disappointed I missed the trip but the airshow was planned weeks agon and I'd never seen a P38.

I wanted to come to the mod day but I never got the info. I figured my experience disassembling my F250's suspension, re-arching the springs, replacing all the busings and stuff might have been helpful and I wanted to learn about Tacomas.

    Oh Well...

My house, next Saturday. Plan to spend the night at my place though. So far it is me and another guy from Spokane. Either of you two interested?

Thats a bit far for me, probably about the same cost in fuel to get there as it would be to have a shop around here do it. About 300 miles one way

I'd be happy to host another mod day, but I don't have any free time until the end of Aug.

Can anyone else host a mod day? I would but don't have any space. Dad has the garage occupied for the next few weeks with wood working and driveway is a decent slope.

Same as all of the others. I could help you but I am busy until the Sep 6th weekend as well.

It is very easy though. If you have any questions I or many others should be able to answer them. The only leaf in my pack that is OEM is the top (mounting) leaf. The rest are pulled out of an old Chevy 1/2 ton.

Here is the thread on that just incase you want to read up on it:

I will help if you have a place to do the work. It might be possible to work on it at my friends place in the next couple of weeks.

You could also do the work in an autozone/napa/orielly/walmart parking lot if nothing else. That would give quick access to any tools you might need but don't have.

Northwesttaco, it's about $160 or so in gas round trip from Lake Stevens to north Spokane.

I may take you up on that if my friend isn't free before then.. Only question I have right now is since I got the 3 leaf progressive, which leafs do I put it in between? I think the 3 right on top of the overload?

never thought about that but I guess I could haha but I just thought that we keep my dads ex military truck in a 10x30ft storage unit and all the metric tools are there so I could easily move that out and use that.

$160 in gas plus ware and tear on my engine, trans, drivetrain etc.. Hotel, and 10 hours of driving. Very generous offer don't get me wrong and thank you, but it is still a little far since I don't have that much time off until the beginning of September.

I would love to get a meet together and go do some trails in north idaho/ your area in the first few weeks of september. Maybe do a 3 or for night expedition.

    1. I would put you up in my house. With 3000 sq ft of house, I can probably find a spot for you.

    2. I understand wear and tear, but these are toyotas. It will take a whole lot more than a road trip, however the 11 hours of travel I understand.

    3. If you make the WABDR trip, we can meet then. Not that you need it, but get your AALs installed before then.

    4. Don't forget to bring a couple of jack stands and a jack with you to play. If you do end up in a parking lot, you can use their "rental" plan, which is buy it, use it, return it for full refund.

Is your girlfriend going to let you sit up front for that trip or will the dog ride shotgun while you ride in the bed?

I wish I could make the WABDR trip but I have summer quarter in school until Aug 18th, then go to Pend Oreille for 10 days. I would say then but Im not taking my truck over. Ive been thinking and looking over a lot of reviews and doesn't seem terrible. Ill just have TW open on my laptop as I do it :)
