You can disable them so that it only functions as the turn signal. I don't like the look of them, been wanting to disable them for awhile

So I work for a wilderness program near Asheville and the Appalachian Ranger district (where hurricane creek trail is) is in the area where we are permitted to backpack. So yesterday we had the district forest service officer come in for an inspection of our program and the campsite we were at for that night. Just in conversation she was talking about Hurricane Creek trail and I mentioned that its a big 4-wheel drive trail. Her response has me a bit worried.. She told me that it is not permitted to drive 4wd vehicles of any kind down that trail and that she has personally seen multiple vehicles and atvs be confiscated and drivers ticketed because of running this trail

Just a heads up.. I have never personally run the trail in my truck and was really looking forward to it.. but now im not so sure.

Keep this in mind--This was not "I heard this from someone who heard it from someone" This came from the district manager of the forest service to me directly.

Now that doesn't mean that this is enforced regularly but it does mean that its a possibility.
