    Ultimately I would like:

    First Purchase Bundle
    Camburg 4" Spindles
    Icon AAL Set at 1.5"

    Second Purchase Bundle
    33x12.50x18 M/T's (Toyo or Nitto)
    18x9 KMC XD Monsters Black

    Third Purchase Bundle
    Icon Coilovers Set at 1"
    Undecided UCA
    Undecided Rear Shocks

    Questions:
Can I run Camburg spindles with stock coilovers?
Can I run AAL with stock rear shocks?
How long can I run stock UCA's with Icon coilovers and spindles?
    Any problems with this setup?
    Any suggestions?

    Details:
2010 DC TRD Sport PreRunner 2WD Silver
    Light/moderate offroading
Looking for smooth ride and handling
    Aggressive look for the road

I love the look of this lift, just a little less of a "Bro Lean".

    looks good except the following:

1 - Undecided UCA - Not needed if only at 1" lift

    Questions:
Can I run Camburg spindles with stock coilovers? - yes
Can I run AAL with stock rear shocks? - i believe you would be right on the edge, but they do sell shock extenders that you could use in the meantime between getting new shocks and be ok
How long can I run stock UCA's with Icon coilovers and spindles? - forever if your only at 1" lift w/ the icons (see above note). you really only need new UCAs if your at greater than 2" lift.
Any problems with this setup? - not that i see, seems to be nearly exactly what i would like to do to my truck, but money is better spent elsewhere (for me at least)
Any suggestions? - do it quick so we can see pics!

    Very helpful, thanks.

What rear shocks would you say? 5100s? - When I search, I get 5100 ride height adjustable 0"-1" lift or mono gas shock.
Will this work with the AAL at 1.5" - 2"?

You are going for the exact same setup i have. Except for the wheels and tires.

My advice would be to do the ICON coilovers first with the AAL and 5100's for the rear. That is the exact setup i have with the addition of Total Chaos UCA's.

I'm getting the spindles in a couple months, but LOVE the way my truck rides right now with the coilovers and rear shocks.

If you're gonna spend the grand on the spindles, you might as well wait and get the coilovers first and set them to 3. They can go to 3.5 which i'm sure you already know, but the ride is so much better with the ICON's than stock and you'll still have a nice lift.

Then when you get the spindles, you can set the coilovers to whatever you want.

That would be my advice, but that's because i think it would look dumb to have a lifted truck with stock coilovers. Doesn't make sense to me.

How long before you plan on purchasing this stuff?

First purchase will be in the next couple weeks. Then the wheels & tires a week or so after that, seeing if some good condition used ones pop up. Then impulse and instant gratification will finish it up soon after.

I don't mind the stock coilovers for a bit if it saves me $6-$700 on the UCAs, you know?

Yeah, i understand what you're saying, but you're gonna get the UCA's anyways, so you really aren't saving any money either way you go. I'm just saying from a perspective of you're gonna have to extend your brake lines immediately with the spindles and you don't have to with the coilovers. Not a big deal or anything, but if you get the spindles in the first place, you're gonna eventually get the coilovers and UCA's. But if you do the coilovers first, you might decide that, "hell, it looks badass with a 3 lift and this tight suspension the way it is". Then you would be saving yourself a grand if you were satisfied with the suspension, and not even decide to get spindes. but with spindles first, you're gonna get aftermarket coilovers and UCA's. You pickin up what i'm puttin down?

IMO i would wait to get the spindles, but it's your truck man.

I look forward to seeing the end product.

Hmmm....sort of sounds like my setup.....save your money you don't NEED new UCA's.

    Allied 4 inch spindles
Camburg 2.5 Coilovers at about 1 inch
    Donahoe Rear Remote Reservoir's w/aal

Why did you do icon rear shocks when you have SAWs up front? If I were you I would sell the Icons to me and buy some SAWs for yourself, hehe.

Lol...I'd prefer matching brands but really they make no difference and you know that.

It was merely a matter of what I was getting a steal of a deal on because I bought the spindles/coilovers/icons all used. Everything had ridicously low miles (like the stuff you sell normally) and was in brand new condition.

On those 3 things I've spent just a little more than $1500

Sounds like you got some good deals bargain hunting.

LOL yeah all the used stuff I sell is always damn near brand new. I need to quit selling shit, I screw myself.

but your forgetting that w/ coilovers at set at only 2.5", you have at most 1" of downtravel left. w/ coilovers set at 3.5", you have nearly no downtravel at all and your springs are compressed and your truck will ride VERY rough.

by getting the spindles, your getting 4" of lift, and still have OEM 3" downtravel, which will equal a nicer ride.

i say get the spindles first, then go from there. that way you'll have the lift, and you can get a better ride w/ adding the coilovers, and still never need the UCA's!

    Lol..Thanks for the compliment.

I know I should be happy with the current setup but from some reason I like the look of long travel tacoma's with the glass front and back but I have to keep telling myself I probably wouldn't use it to it's fullest at this point in my life. But it's so tempting I just want to go for it. Might have to start looking for some good deals in that direction.

Ok, spindles first. How easy/hard is it to do this install yourself? Including AAL and rear shocks.

Sorry I don't know how hard the install is for the spindle. I didn't have time and ended up paying about $200. That price included install of the spindle and extended brakelines, as well as an alignment. I had the work done at IMZZ Industries in Brea.

Rear AAL isn't terribly hard, that along with the shocks took me around 2.5-3.5 hours. It was my first time doing it so I just followed all the directions/writeups that I could find. It helps if you have and extra set of hands to give you a hand.

exactly what i was thinking when he said to skip the spindles and get CO's instead....
spindles are awesome for the prerunners. 1blkt's truck is where i got the idea for spindles+adjustable shocks over a DB lift.
