    Hello everyone,
I just bought an '05 Doublecab SR5 TRD Off Road and I was curious what your opinions are on this model. I personally feel that I am going to love this truck for a long time.

Also, I'm curious as to how long your trucks are running without any serious problems.

Yeah, the only non-factory chrome on it is that bumper guard. I am planning on eventually blacking all of the chrome out. Any ideas on the best way to do that?

Well if you ask around people will tell you to either just get it powder coated or you can do the cheaper version and plasti dip like a lot of people do on her as well. If you do it right it holds up pretty well and looks really good IMO. I've only dipped my emblems though.

    Dude....

This is a tacoma forum and there's nothing not to like about these trucks!!

We all have our own ways of personalizing them.

I will suggest, you should hide your wallet and don't listen to anything these guys tell you or else you'll go broke!! :D

Have fun with it!! It's yours now....give it some personalization.

DIP IT! :rasta: Just remember to get at least 3-4 coats on there and it'll peel off like a sticker if you don't like it.
