I tried doing this today, how did you get the ring in between the big washer and the bolt? The washer is held in place by threading. Unless you shaved the threads off.

I did mine a cpl weeks ago, I put the bolt through a vice, leaving the washer sitting on top of the vice, not tightened and beat it out. Then you have to cut the washer a little to square up with the d-ring. I got hosed on mine, bought from dealership and paid 40.00 a piece.

Yea, I'm not worried. I maintain clean vehicles and i'm always respectful to LEO's so even being the dumb ass I am I rarely get pulled over and when I do I usually get warnings. For those reasons Ill ignore it.

For the thug ass no respect criminals driving POS's in drug riddled hoods it's a good way to get pulled over :D

That is very true. We use any reason we can find to pull over those that drive like crap. But respect goes a long way too.

    A few things
I just turned the bolt upside down with the bolt head between my vice jaws and lightly hammered the bottom of bolt until it came out of the washer. Then just put the washer in vice to straightened out again (it was slightly bent). Then same thing to get back in, except hit the bolt head. It didnt bend or mess up the bolt at all.

Took out my old leaf springs and put in some new ones. Said on the website it would raise it about and inch I got about 3 inches. Not sure how much it will settle, if at all. I'm a happy camper though!
