Good evening all. This is my first post on this forum. Just picked up a 14 DC TRD OR 4x4. Only have 400 miles on it. Looking for some good not so technical places around Olympia to get it dirty and learn how it works.

So I was thinking the weekend of Sept. 6th for a trail run. If people would like to go back up to Gallagher head Lake we can do that and Van Epps Pass (Same area) or I was thinking of doing Naches pass trail. Read somewhere that a guy took a few stock jeeps up it and did fine so shouldn't be to bad even though it is labeled as "more difficult"

    http://nwjeepn.com/VanEpps.htm

    http://nwjeepn.com/naches.htm

Any one up to join me?

So... Who owns the silver AC with a topper, HC rear with tire gate and tube front bumper? Seen a WA plated rig in Oregon, so it sparked my interest to see if its a TW man.

I think they are bed locks..might be fake. It's the new SCS SR8 wheels.

    17s? 285s?

You will have to trim no matter what you do with 285's.

Yes. You are probably going to need to trim a bit of flare as well at some point. Especially if you want to really wheel it.

It's already been said, but you'll have to trim to clear 285's. You might get away with just trimming the plastic wheel well liner. More likely if you actually want to full cycle you'll have to do a CMC and Pinch weld Mod. These are examples of adding about 2" of clearance.

Izzy is it rubbing on the front side of the wheel well? not rubbing the mud flaps at all?

That's is weird, I have the same set up as Izzy but with a 4.75 BS and I didn't have a rubbing issue except for the mud flaps. No trimming required.
