    OK guys

Heres my dilemma. I have custom projectors now, however, like most of us on this forum I find myself bored. I desperately want something new. I prefer HALOS I think but I also love the Demon Eyes as well. I like unique and also something bright enough to see at night as my projectors are not very bright. So I am asking you all for help,,,,, My rig is a second gen 2008 Crew Cab TRD Silver

    LETS SEE WHAT YA GOT!

Post a pic of your favorite lights and help a brotha out. To keep it interesting, I will make a donation to the winner of the nicest setup!!

    READY??? GO!!

    AND THANKS IN ADVANCE!

    Why not do both??
This was when I first got into retrofitting. Look a little different now. I may change back to this look for my next set. Everyone said they looked like transformer eyes.
For first gen but, May give u an idea.

EDIT: Has tripple Angel eyes and demon eyes.
ccfl's used for 'back glow' (when Trs still sold them)
White xb led's for port holes in shroud
    Orange xb led's on outside.
    Metallic blue demon eyes

Yep. Except they don't look as awesome mist of the time. They only look that good when the projectors aren't on and only in dark scenarios. Like either on an overcast day, or at dusk, or at night when I start the truck and only the running lights are on. During the day in sunlight you can't really see anything. Plus the demon eyes aren't that bright either. The only thing illuminating the painted shrouds is the ccfl mounted inside. I would like to mount a brighter led inside but need to research that more so that I don't end up with a burnt out led. Had that issue with the white led halos inside too. Kept burning out. Most of that was due to the voltage regulators failing. But yeah my retro was a major headache. I have had a whole new set of projectors and housings that have been sitting in storage, waiting to be put together but I haven't had time or the patience to figure out a painless installation so I don't have to mess with it again. Want to do it once and forget about it. So if you're going to go through with it, I would ask other people who have done recent retros whom have the led halos and/or demon eyes and see if they've had any issues since install. You may end up having to split your headlights more than once if any leds go out. After the third time of my halos going out (the white ones behind shroud port holes) I gave up and just left them disconnected.

What led did u go with for the demon eye? And how long have they been in there since you installed them? I was thinking of doing a blue led. And not paint the shrouds. I powder coated mine. Or I might just powder coat them blue again and use a white led. because I don't want any blue light shining backwards on the reflector. Just white from the ccfl's that I used for the back glow.

Oh snap! I actually purchased two of those but in red and was gonna put them in too, but I thought that plastic strip would melt in there so I didn't use em. Well hell, I'll have to get more of those then! Did you use just one per projector and where'd you mount it? On the inside of the shroud?
