What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Oh, also installed the replacement (color matched grill) from camelback. The chrome one has less than 60 miles on it and is in perfect shape. eBay or through the forums here? Thanks

 

Didn't do anything TO it, but went off roading IN it and it was a blast.

 

So I finally had time after work to put some light behind my grille.
I follwed this threadhttp://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/lighting/79832-hella-500-hid-conversion-mount-behind-satoshi-how-w-pics.html to make the bracket which was cake. When it came to installing the Hellas, however, I had some trouble until I threw out the Hella wiring diagram. After looking up a better wiring diagram I was done in no time. By that time, it had gotten dark so what a better time to test these babies out...wrong I flick the switch preparing for the beautiful sight and I got nothing. Checked the connections and tried again. Still nada. No light on the switch, no light ANYWHERE!!! I'm guessing you guys will say to pull out the multimeter but I really don't know where to start.

 

Ordered my grillcraft and emblem and finished my siriusxm adapter install and cleaned up the wiring

 

Had a friend point out that someone must have backed into me or something cause I've got a big dent in my rear fender passenger side.. Hoping I can push it out from the inside.

 

That sucks...

 

Picked up some bushwacker flares! What do you guys think?

 

Finished the lowering from the 6" kit back to 3" just gotta go get new u bolts in the morning and done.

 

Found a good deal on some coverking rear seat covers hope they match my neoprene trd ones in the front

 

They look good man! It doesn't look like they stick out too much further than the stock flares though, do you know how much they stick out or could you post a pick from a front angle?

 

Check the fuse in the relay if you used one

 

Thanks! I think they stick out a bit further than stock because they cover up my tires which stuck out before. Other than that this is the only pic I got of the front right now. I might take some tomorrow when it's light out.

 

I can understand that.
I go hard full pressure washer soap and rinse, no wax under the hood. I dry off my batteries immediately. I spend a lot of time in the dirt and water and mixed = mud so it takes a bit. When I did keep the engine bay spotless I used a tiny bit of tire shine on the hoses to keep them from drying out and getting dull.

I swear she runs better clean than dirty lol

 

Looks good! I think it will look much better if you black out the chrome grill surround.
