Eh, see my Build Thread sig link. Too many mods to list.
And you can get your hood closed?

I looked at building a shelf too, but it just didn't seem like the hood would close all the way with the Blue Sea on top of the vacuum canisters like that. So, my sheet metal, pile of relays, and circuit breaker are all sitting on a shelf in the garage now.

I was going to just mount it on the other side between the air filter and firewall, but didn't feel like dealing with all of those long runs of wire.

Maybe I'll go back and take another look one of these days.

Yes they fit. I wasn't sure so I taped the block and breaker to cardboard and put them in place. I slowly closed the hood a dozen times before I felt comfortable moving on tot he next step. I made the shelf and mocked everything up again and closed the hood a dozen times before it drilled the holes and secured everything in place. After mounting everything, I still slowly closed the hood a few times. Then I slammed the hood trying to hit the reset button on the breaker. Every time it was a perfect fit.

Pull that box of pieces out and start mocking it up.

I've done two re-boot jobs and had enough. Figured the price of admission was justified.

I need to reboot one of my OEMs that got swapped out earlier this year. Wish I had time before Utah. Be nice to have a spare handy. Probably will be a winter project.

I added it to my wish list. Waiting on report of how they hold up. I need to reboot too.

I think I broke two snap ring pliers last time. Damn cheapos.

Finally had the replacement tire put on today. I tore a huge hole in the sidewall a couple weeks ago and ordered a replacement.
I got about a mile from the shop and realized they'd left my hood open. What does changing out a tire have to do with anything under the hood?

Ah, of course. Well that was nice of them. I told them I work at a toyota dealership and just had the oil change done.

I'm surprised they didn't see the leaky cv boot.
