    Here is the trailer I just bought. 2004 R-VISION TRAIL-CRUISER 26QBH
It was a a friend of mine's neighbor. Bought it new in 2004 and only got to use it once. :) It's like a time capsul inside.

    Cheers,
    Chris

I think its as good as it gets for a Tacoma towing a car. Could have gone Aluminum trailer for another 5K but thats not worth it for me.

I agree, I have towned with not enough weigh on the back of the truc before and its a lot more interesting then having too much weight onthe rear axle.

The return trip was moved back a foot. I was concerned the short wheel base and the lack of weight in the tacoma world make it un settled. It was actually really easy tow.

Thanks love this car for the track its so raw and damn quick for a stock motor car.

Not sure of the tongue weight but here is a pic of the sticker with the weights. It's a lite so it's oly 3329lbs empty. I have a equalizer hitch that they guy I bought it from gave me too.

    Cheers,
    Chris

What are you all using for towing mirrors? I need to get a set now that I got this trailer.

Power extend/retract towing mirrors, brake controller,30amp charging system for TT,snug top camper
I'm using powervisionmirrors off a 98 chevy for towing mirrors. These are 6way mirrors with power-extend and power-retract. I had to heavly modify these mirrors with mounting and rewiring to make them work on my 06 Tacoma.I did this mod about 6 years ago before there was any other aftermarket mirrors out there. Pictures of my rig and mirrors are in my gallery.

I have a pair of the ProEFX and they work but I agree with you. I think they're made in China and definitely aren't worth that kind of price. I got mine for less on here from someone selling an unused pair they didn't need.

Like I said they work fine so far, but overpriced just a lot of other aftermarket stuff out there.

I have a 99 3.4l v6. The towing limit is at 3500lbs. What do you think I can type in the real world. I'm looking to get 70s model trailer. But am worried about weight. What length trailer might coincide with my limit.

Your truck is a lot lighter, shorter, and has smaller brakes than a 2nd generation on top of the smaller engine. I thought the tow limit on V6 1st gens was closer to 5000 lbs when properly equipped... In any case don't push your truck past the weight that it is rated for and try to test tow anything you're looking at buying. Most sellers will allow a little test tow down the street if they can ride with you. If what you want feels to heavy than don't buy it.
