    Hi all,

I have an 08 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V and i have just become engaged. So the car needs to go and I was looking at a Tacoma. I have started to talk to a guy about him buying my car and I his 05 Tacoma SR5 TRD sport. We haven't met yet, but is there anything about 05 I should know about?

I have been doing some research and I see the thread about the motor mounts. I just don't want to get into a truck that could be a problem down the road. I have run the CarFax on it and it was clean, but I don't know much about these trucks. The last Toy I had was a '94 (before they called them Tacoma's they were just pickup trucks) and I knew all about it before I bought it. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated, thank :)

Why have two cars when my finace has one that is paid for and I can get a truck? Plus I want to explore some of the desert areas I have never been to so a truck is needed.

I plan on moderate to light offroading until I get more money to put into the truck.

I did it again. Got tired of paying truck payments and gas and traded in for a 2015 Honda Accord Sport since I enjoyed my 2013 Sport so much.
    I sold my 2007 Mazda3s for a Toyota Tacoma.

The 2005 PreRunner TRD Off Road truck has given me no problems since I've owned it (starting 7/08). Running CarFax I found out that I was either the 3rd or 4th owner but it's been running like a sewing machine. Bought it with 56k and now it has 71k.

If I could have done anything different I would have with a 4x4. That's about it....

My 05 has almost 70k miles on it. I beat my truck up every chance I can get (see sig =)). The only problem I have with it is the damn overhead console keeps burning out.

    Good luck to ya.

    Lol this place is awesome!!!

I can't spend too much money right now, because we are having a house built but I figure while I have some I should get my priorities in order...having a truck again. Thanks for all the input, I appreciate it.
