Morning.
Finally off call. Going to get some real sleep and tore up tonight.

 

After being woke by the grandkids 2 hrs into my nap yesterday morning, I crashed about 8:30PM -- wide awake at 2:30AM. So hiya everyone.

 

Checking in. Not working, salmon fishing again. Real bad run this year. Fish are hard to hook this year. Still, not at work. Beer is still good. Take care all.

Just watching movies in between working(slow night). Hows working moving along for you?

Ill have to get outside to check out the moon when that happens. unfortunately its a little cloudy right now

 

Tried something new with extra pizza dough from the old family recipe. Put some meat down and rolled it with a light sprinkling of cheeses. Needs a bit of refinement but was tasty as heck.

Yep, slow here again too. FY changeover, so it always gets a little slow 1st week or so of October until everybody gets their money organized. Should pick up here soon ... at least I hope it does. Easy money, but the shifts drag by.

Clear here tonight ... hope we get a decent view. I'll see if my phone will capture it.

 

Stupid base filters ... Had to go to my phone to see your pics. Almost wish I hadn't ... Suddenly very hungry. That looks delicious.

 

The pizza has pepperoni, mushrooms, bacon, awesome Kansas City bbq sauce drizzled on half, Cholula hot sauce, and a sprinkling of asiago cheese over the standard mozzarella bed.

The pizza sauce is crushed tomatos, oregano, a little parsley, garlic, black pepper, and cumin simmered with dried chillis for an hour which are removed before spreading.

The rolled thing™ had some salami, peperoni, mushrooms and some asiago cheese.

I ate too much.

 

Yep ... back outside in 15 mins.

Yeah ... not supposed to happen for another 10 mins. Not sure how long the transition lasts. That was just a quick shot to check resolution. Heading back out in a few. We'll see ...

I'm in central time so it's the eclipse part of it isn't for another hour and 10. I'll be watching it since I'm working out side anyway.

Yep, I was off an hour. Totality would be at 2:25AM AST. Hmmm...we haven't set the clocks back yet, maybe that's were I mis-calculated.

 

just checked and the eclipse is starting, the moon is almost 1/4 covered. still white though

 

Guess we change clocks Nov 2 this year.

Damn but these slow shifts are boring.
