    thanks

Just completed this mod with the recommended LED's from Radio Shack. I think I need to drill the hold bigger in the rubber cup holders so the LED can shine through and light up the cup holders more. I love it though and I'm happy with my results! Does anyone have any advice for allowing more of the LED to shine through?

Any one do both front and rear cup holders with a light into the center console box? I was thinking you could run one wire to the rears and splice it and put a light inside the center console just below the arm rest so you can see in there at night as well. Just curious if anyone has done this or has a write up to offer on it.

I placed one LED (orange) between the two cup holders so it illuminates both and I also wired 2 of the same LEDs into my center console. These are located under the hinge facing each other. Because I have a standard, it was too much work to wire to a light source so I spliced into the cig. lighter and placed an illuminated rocker switch next to cig. lighter. I basically shaved one of the covers down and put the switch in it. Now I have control over when the light are off and on.

Does anyone know where to get a mesh bungee that goes in the center console?? I have seen someone that had one browsing TW but can't find one anywhere online.

Thanks again for the write up and I definitely think this is a great addition!

So I just decided to give this one a try. Used this as a guide for the install, it worked like a charm, and I'm no good with electrical!

Then grounded the black under the shifter area and ran the pos+ wire up to the fuses and used an add a fuse so that they come in with the ignition.
