Mine currently has 176k+ on it. Might be time to change it out. I'm just in it to see how much gunk comes out.

 

Replaced the crankshaft position sensor, starter, and got the red top tested... Starter still won't engage flywheel -___-

Not too bad. Little louder than my magnaflow was but its deep and truck-ish. Doesn't sound like a civic haha

 

I don't have any photos of the process but I used tacomarotto's write up as a guide.

 

It's super easy to get the bed off. Easy 2 person job.

 

My tail light situation is fixed. Ground wire was broken. Now i have an abs light. I jumped the two terminals on the odb port and it gave me an abs 51 code which means to replace the abs motor or something. But seeing how ive read the unit is like $950, what other things can i check for before taking the expensive route?

 

Do the rip-out-your-ABS mod and forget ABS.

 

I hear ya but i really dont want to mess around with it like that. Are there other things I can check into?
