Hey Ecotecin, I noticed you installed fogs. Installing them was a breeze since we're pre-wired, but have you had any issues with condensation? I'm on my third set of e-bay fogs and they keep getting a crap ton of condensation inside. I live on the Texas Gulf Coast and it's hella humid, but shits starting to piss me off.

Wait, yours was pre-wired? Mine wasn't. That must have been a nice surprise!
As for your fogs, have you tried sealing them with silicone?

Mine was pre wired, and i ordered them off of ebay. I havent had any problems yet, but when i got them i did go down and buy a new set of bulbs for them. The ones i ordered only had 35w really dim bulbs in them, so i went down and bought a new set of 55w sylvania's and put in them. I have had them on there for about 4 1/2 months and havent had any issues yet.

Yea, i looked and looked for over almost a year trying to find that color and couldnt, it was hard to even find any base models, just like what you said, and then a dealer about 2 1/2 miles away had this one show up. So i figured i better take it because the new 15's were coming out and i knew they would be more expensive then what mine was going to be. So i went ahead and got it.

Love my base model! Had it for almost 6 years now, added a few luxuries like intermittent wipers, TRD seats and a locker

Nice choice! I dunno why it is like that when it comes to base models but around here its all prerunners or TRD off roads (bigger profit margins maybe?) and they command a premium price since we're so close to the beach. I knew I wanted a base and have since added the back up camera/rear view mirror and fogs that differentiate us from SR5's.

Gorgeous truck man. Intermittent wipers are on my list and I'm still debating a locker. I'm not sure I do enough wheeling to justify it.

Bummer. I wouldn't have know had it not been for this thread lol. I just tried 3M super silicon sealer on these fog lights from ebay and one of them still had condensation in them lmao. I'm snake bit I guess.

The hood deflector is AVS Brand, and the foglights were a few different parts, it was these lights http://www.ebay.com/itm/12-14-TOYOT...yota|Model:Tacoma&hash=item58b7b66c79&vxp=mtr with this switch http://www.ebay.com/itm/TOYOTA-TACO...yota|Model:Tacoma&hash=item46104ea062&vxp=mtr and this relay http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fog-Light-R...yota|Model:Tacoma&hash=item3a906e6208&vxp=mtr all total the kit ran me about 110 dollars to piece together, which is still ALOT cheaper than doing it from the factory.

Actually i didnt, but i couldn't find just the foglights so i ordered an entire kit. It was still cheaper than the factory doing it that way. I also had a buddy that needed the switch and relay, so he gave me 15 for it and when the lights come in, he got the relay. So it was a little cheaper. All the wiring i ised was all pre-wired in the truck.

I'm pretty happy with the base look, the black fender flares and bumper add a nice look IMO.

I haven't done much to mine yet, but I'm thrilled with the MT Classic 3 wheels. I just added the bug deflector, window visors and a tow hitch (not pictured)

    tires and suspension next!

We'll accept you for now on a provisional basis, but to get fully into the club you have to paint your front bumper to!:D
