    Hey guys. Been a while.

The + and - tell you if the spring is over or under spec (but still within tolerance). My leaf packs both had +s; but one of them had a slightly higher arch, so I put that one on the driver's side. If you have a + and -, then definitely put the + spring on the driver's side for anti-taco-lean.

No problem. Hope you found someone. If you had been closer, I have the entire assembly in my garage.

Sounds like they handled it themselves, but I was in contact and ready to roll if needed.
Man, looks like a great trip! Moab is a cool place. Feels like you're on the moon or something. Should have called in sick and went with!

Just got back to the house, shop is still intact - so that's a good thing.

Got a fire going and a beer - was only thinking about if for the last 600 miles today.

    Thanks again, Logan!

Yes! It was me that had the blown out bearing, i really appreciate everyones willingness to help out. Thats one of the awesome things about tacomaworld..so many great people on here. Luckily between jake and i we had every tool under the sun other than a 20,000lb hydraulic press so we were able to get the job done.

On another note, moab is just incredible and if you havent gone before i highly recommend it!

You can change them with a 2 lb sledge, but it ain't pretty. I did mine 30 miles from pavement once with nothing more than basic hand tools and a hammer. Might be a good idea to buy a couple already pressed in to keep in the spares box... http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2n...s-4x4-sale-complete-best-price-ever-save.html

It was probably the 80MPH speed limit across Utah that did it!

Sounds like a brutal job. Its good to know that it can be done though. I plan on buying two of those assemblys and then using the cheap Chinese bearing\hub assembly i have now as a backup. If theres one thing i learned on this trip its that you can never be too prepared.

Thanks again Mike (boat racer) for basically installing the Dakars and brake lines for me. Rides like a dream and fixed my minor vibration when starting off :D
