now its kaena pt. always a bunch of ppl to ruin it for others. i wanna know the reason, if its cuz ppl trash the place then they should shut it down at night. ive been there at night and that place is crawling with ppl drinking, open fires, and god knows what else. then when we go in the morning they dont clean up, nails all over the place from ppl burning crates n what not.

I feel we have way bigger issues. homeless is a problem but its always been a problem. how many kids gotta die from drugs at these raves before they get shut down or even talk about it. seems like they enforce all kinds of things that keep ppl outta trouble to sway them to do stupid things

 

On another note: went down to Toyota to get some touch-up paint yesterday. Guy tells me that the TPMS is technically a watch battery and averase life is like 6 years. Dealership is like $80 each for the sensors and $125 to reprogram. Not even including the cost to install..

 

yeah I got ripped when I wanted them to swap my rims/tires from my reg cab to my access cab. im thinking I should just buy that tool that reprograms them. sooner or later ima need to do it

 

i thought some people just get some pvc piping and make a container to hold the tpms. They just air it up to normal psi.

I kinda hate the tpms wish it could be deleted at that price can buy new tires I wonder how much the tools cost

 

over time the sensors batteries die. then when u replace the sensor you gotta reprogram them to your vehicle. the tool runs around 150ish.

 

I have that tool. Got my money's worth when I put my new rims on.

 

I thought about that, but because my wife often drives my truck during the week, better safe.

 

I'll just throw you some $$$$ to reprogram a set of 5. May as well do the spare now as well. Did you do aftermarket sensors or OEM????

I picked up oem, but can use aftermarket. Toyota doesn't actually make these, they use a 3rd party brand. Just end the serial number of each one and installed wheel location.

That looks handy. Wonder if the older trucks are similar

for an access cab or single cab.

Acces cab so u can store stuff instead of the bed.

But yea.. single cabs are cool looking, but not all that practical to store really anything...

access cab is a happy median between a double and a standard. I love the 1/2 back seat. People don't ask me for rides, and I can fit a lot of stuff back there

 

Mostly he keeps in there unopened UPS/FEDEX boxes with tons of parts in them...

access cab for sure. I had my reg cab for a 5k miles and traded it in for an access cab...much happier now
