The quick fist hardware came from lowes. Quickfists came from Amazon. Bed rail hardware came from 4xinnovations. You can buy the flat steel at any of your local suppliers or at lowes but lowes doesn't have much of a selection.

I used about 21" of the flat steel but only a little over 19" went into the actual mounts. The rest was waste.

    Lowes hardware:

    (2) M6-1.00 stainless steel nuts
    (2) M6-1.00x40mm stainless steel bolts*
    (4) 6mm stainless steel washers

*note, could go with shorter bolts but i bought what my local store had :(

Here is the hardware to fit the bed rail system. From 4x innovations

    https://www.4xinnovations.com/mobile/Toyota-Bed-Rail-Accessory-Hardware-Kit_p_21.html

    Quickfists:

    http://www.amazon.com/Original-Quick-Fist®-mounting-equipment/dp/B000CQPANY

And i used black rustoleum paint with primer built in.

Anyone have any questions, post them here, pm me, or post them here (in the thread below): thanks to bensonX for the help and the writeup!

Congrats Greengen! I love my 3rd gen 4runner. Yours looks like the one i'm trying to buy now from a customer at my work. It was brought in because the previous female owner was murdered about 2 years ago and its been sitting ever since. A family member is undecided whether to sell it or keep it for himself. He brought it in for a state inspection. It has a blown out axle seal, saturated brake shoes, dead battery & a dent in the rear hatch. It's been sitting at my work for a little over a month now. It's a 02 with only 87k miles. He's supposed to let me know something this week. I already have a lifted 2000 4runner but what's one more.

No she wasn't killed in it. It belonged to Yeardley Love, I'm sure some of you marylanders remember hearing about her on the news. Her POS boyfriend beat her to death. The customer that brought it in is the brother-in-law. He has a almost indentical 02 but his is the sport model with 165k miles. He's not sure if he should sell me his and keep this one because of the low mileage. I told him to let me know either way.
