    PM'd FLTrucks 10/21/14

Recieved reply to PM and invoice 11/7/14

(I was out of town so I had him send me an invoice which I received 11/11/14)

And received the unit today 11/17/14.

Give him a bit of time, he'll PM when he has some on hand.

    Now to install this sucker.

I'm curious, have any of you guys who got a radio actually downloaded the entunes app on your phone? The reviews in the App Store are terrible.

It works as it should, I suppose. Allows you to synch up to more apps and give you full screen Pandora, etc instead of controlling on your phone.

Hmm, maybe I'll give it a shot. Was kind of hesitant due to all the reviews. I think it sits at 1 1/2 stars in the app store LOL.

Was everything "plug and play" for the 2015? I just picked up my 2015 and added the toyota bongiovi box the other day. I didn't actually count the plugs on the back of my stereo but it seems like I have way more plugs than the unit pictured at the start of this thread.

You also said that yours was already wired for the GPS antenna, do we have the antenna already installed under the fin on the roof?

    thanks

I'll take one! I had no idea it was such a simple upgrade. I just had mine out the other day to install the bongiovi upgrade and was surprised how easy the radio came out. Just four 10mm bolts and I pried everything else off by hand. Wasn't so easy getting stuff to fit back in though, lol.

Does anyone know if the bongiovi will work with the nav units?

I did it. It's worth doing in my opinion. Does what it's supposed to do. Not a great app by any means, but it allows you to use the apps. Pandora is about all I'm interested in though.

Biggest complaint here is that it won't connect to the unit unless you have it running in the foreground on your phone. So you have to manually start it every time you want to use it.

the Entune app drains my iPhone battery quicker than anything I've ever seen. I think I do better to just bluetooth stream from my phone directly to the radio.

Received and installed mine today. Total plug and play for my '13 (aside from adding the included antenna) and everything works perfect. Manufacturing date November 2014. PM sent 11-7-14, invoiced and paid 11-19-14, received and installed 11-26-14. I highly recommend this upgrade. Thanks FLTrucks!

I have a 2015 taco I made the swap this morning before work. Everything works as far as I know. But I have one last connector and connection that aren't connected not sure if they connect to eachother or not. My older bro has a 2014 said most likely could just be the connection to the engine for the maintenance app. Anyone with a 2015 have the same problem?

That plug looks like it's for the clocks that the old 2014 and below models had. 2015 models had the clocks built into the radios and had a blank where the old clock was

Check your hazards. That appears to be the connection for the Hazards which is located right below the radio.

Is it for the XM radio?

The "Maintenance" app is just a place where we can keep maintenance stats stored. It must be "told" by the user when oil changes are due.
