Oval Tube Step Bar of The Week

Just picked up a 2015 DC TRD. Needs boards and I was thinking about Westin's 20-2775 GenX 4" in Oval Tube Nerf Step Bar Drop Down.

What else is out there?

 

I was trying to decide between running boards and tube steps. I wanted something that hung lower and stuck out further than the OEM steps because they are up so high and so close to the truck that they are useless.

I finally decided to go with Go Rhino 5" Xtreme Ovals. These worked out perfectly for me. They stick out enough to protect against door dings in parking lots. The extra added bonus with these is they will never ever rust because they are made out of high density plastic. Sounds cheap but they are very durable.

I got these: http://www.rollingbigpower.com/steps-1/rx-3-steps-11.html Ordered them from AutoAnything and got a 15% discount. YES they're expensive but IMO are the best looking/made out there.

 

I ended up gettting these rock sliders with the detachable steps: http://www.n-fab.com/products/sfID1/114/sfID2/106/sfID3/107/productID/329 nice protection without hanging down too far like the nerf bars, and easy to install.

I like this style, They came stock on my truck (predator bars ) I'll keep them until I decide I need sliders

 

I just put a set of Dee Zee 4in ovals on my 05 taco. Bought them from runningboardwarehouse.com at a great price with free shipping. It took longer to answer all the questions from my five year old grandson about them then it took to put them on. They fix perfect. I love the look.
