Always on OEM Fog Lights

Does anyone know how to get the OEM fog lights to turn on/off without having to turn the headlights on? I have a 2007 DC Pre.

I followed these instructions & had no problem. I have complete control of the fog lights anytime I want them on regardless of other light conditions.

 

How does that effect the switch? and is there a way just to turn them on and off with the switch w/o having head lights on?

 

It doesnt effect the switch. just use it the same way to turn them on and off, without the headlights on

 

yep, and also when you turn the truck off,even if you happen to leave the fogs on, they go off automatically when you turn off the truck.

One thing ive noticed with my X-Runner and my 07 Sport. If you leave the fog switch "on" when you shut the truck off, they will come on for about 30 seconds after about 4 hours.

 

did you use the piercedtiger method? He said they didn't come on?

 

i did this mod, and my lights have never came back on. there are a few different ways to do the fog light mod....but i like this way the best.....real easy to do, and it works great.
