If you're gonna hate at least spell my name right ;)

I seem to remember you ripping on my trailer build also...

It's funny to me how comments can get taken out of context... Like when I pull into BFE and have people looking at my truck I say "I'm glad I didn't bother washing it before coming down that dusty ass road".

Show builds don't have rock rash and don't go down "suburu trails lol".

Do I try to beat my truck up? Absolutely not! It's built to explore trails and "overland" - not a crawler - not a drive fast over small bumps in the desert truck.

Do companies place my truck in their booths - yes. It gets attention. I started building this truck 3 months before I started with AP. Photos of it is what actually made them call me and offer me a job. They didn't build it or have any say in what products I used. In fact the owner hated using it in any promotions because he hated Toyo Tires - I love them.

Do I like to work on it myself? Not really lol I would rather pay someone if possible for the larger projects because that garage time to me is better spent with my son. Since I travel so much the last thing I want to do when I'm home is be stuck in the garage. Family comes first on my priority list. I grew up wrenching though. My dad owned a speed shop building drag cars.

Just get your facts straight before going all "online school girl".

    Just to clear this up:
AP had nothing to do with building my truck nor did they pay enough to build it - sold some property and made a good profit.

I'm stoked for a tie actually! Love your build and wanted buy a white Taco but the wife talked me into black so seeing a great build like yours lets me live my original white dream build through you.

I want us all to win and get credit for all the money and work we put into our trucks. We all have different goals and visions for the perfect Tacoma and that's what makes this so fun - seeing all those different styles.

Cheers to sharing the Build title this year.

Love your build man. I actually like black trucks more. My old Taco was Black but this one has some pinstrips that the white hides well. Congrats on the title man and we will see who holds on to it. I have big plans too... Allpro LT.... Bamf Relocation... Fridge.. Bed cap... Regear... 35s... Relentless HC rear swingout... Relentless Dom 2 piece kickout sliders... This stuff is addicting.

So what jberry813 said was true then? You say you spent the money and that others did the work, it's a show truck, and you say you don't wheel it hard. And finally, you admit you complained about the dust.

So what facts are incorrect? Is it just that he spelled your name wrong?

Don't get me wrong, yours is a nice truck and trailer. And if you are happy with it and it meets your needs, that's all that really matters.

But if anyone was going all "online school girl"?

Stoked to see it all come together, thats a great list! I am working on my 2015 list also after having these mods for a year I get an idea of what works for my goals and what could use some improvement. I'll be posting a the list when I get it all nailed down :D

I hope someone new comes in and blows us all out of the water next year. It's fun to watch builds come to life so fast.

Looking forward to your list. Need to know what the competition is up to. My truck is all allpro's fault. Stupid Group buy on a front bumper started the moding of my 2014.

    Oh my goodness lol

Ok let me break this down even further for you...

    The dusty comment:
read my " " out loud and say it with a smile and laughing — it was a joking comment, not a moment of sadness because my truck was dusty lol hence why I said it's funny how things can be taken out of context.

Do I work on my truck:
    Yes.
Do I like to at this stage in my life? Not really again read my reason why — I have a 19 month old son that I would rather be with. So larger projects I have a shop take care of for me like the long travel install. I recently replaced the inner cv boots "in my garage" if that makes you feel any better because the cost of labor at a shop was ridiculous.

    Is it a show truck:
It is kind of both which makes building it that much more fun.
When you think of a show truck they have no miles, get trailered everywhere and are immaculate. Not the case with mine.
I daily drive this truck, I take it offroad and I use it for what I built it for — adventure!
I love it being on display at shows though — who wouldn't? But it by no means is built for that specific reason.

    Do I wheel it hard:
That's not what I built it for so why would I? It's an overland build not a crawler.
Have I gone down rock crawling trails that cause rock rash and damage? Yes! Take a close look it at any show ;) lol
Was I happy about it? It was fun but again not what I built it for.
There is a difference in purpose for all of our builds — mine is for all around adventure with capabilities to tackle hard trails if needed while exploring.

I don't hate on anyones build and encourage everyone to build the truck that best suites their wants and needs despite the naysayers. I don't care if you're a rock crawler, snow wheeler, pre runner or "overlander" — whether you installed every product or had it all done, we are all doing what we love and share that common bond.

Alright SEAN, you wanna go there, let's go there.

Let's start with context. I was the first fucking person to greet you as you rolled into BFE. I showed you nothing but respect and you blew me off as fast as you could because you clearly had better things to do. And taken out of context? Put the full context in. In our short conversation you sat there and complained about how you just washed your truck and then that storm hit and rolled your eyes like it was the end of the world. Be careful out there man, might get a dirty spot on your truck on...yes...places subarus can go.

As for your trailer build...go ahead. Reread every fucking post I made in there. I challenge anyone to read that thread. There was no ripping, it was all about questioning the weight because I just couldn't believe my steel trailer wasn't that much more in weight than your aluminum. In fact, I'll even quote it for you because you are the one going all online school bitch:

And since we're on the subject of context, why don't you inform everyone else about why your truck is where it is. Like how you keep it this big secret that you go out and talk vendors like all pro, soliciting for sponsorships in trade for some stickers on your truck, taking some awesome pictures, and repping the companies on the social media front. So fuck off with insults to me.

And on the kids, props to you. Be the family man. I'm no different in that regard. But guess what, both my boys have helped me build my truck to where it is since they were 2 years old, teaching them what I follow in terms of values in life. Why? Because both my parents were mechanics my entire childhood and I grew up our family owned shop. Am I a mechanic or a fabricator today? No. I'm a Software Sales Engineer for HP, but I know the value of a blue collar laborer and expect my kids to learn those same values.

So carry on with your facade and cronies that had to point out my post in our local thread. But if you're going to come in here swinging your purse, you get your facts strait.

    Wow.
Had no idea your hatred for me and my build were this strong

If I showed you any disrespect during BFE I apologize because that is never my intention with anyone. I went up to you first — I parked about a hundred yards away from your truck and because I recognized your build I went your way. Loved looking around at the whole set up because its damn nice and impressive. If you felt I blew you off that was the exact opposite of what I thought was happening. Lot's of people and builds to look at and talk about there.

You have even emailed me asking for photos I took of your truck jumping so you could get it printed — I thought we were on a mutual respect level but I was obviously wrong there. You're welcome though, I hope the print looks awesome in your house.

Someone let me know you were talking shit here which is why I came looking.

What you think and the facts are quite a bit different which is why I felt the need to chime in. I can't change your opinions though and you are entitled to them.

    I wish you the best.

Dude quit reading into non existent bs. I never hated on any of your builds. Do I speak my mind...hell yes. I would hardly call my original comment "shit talking," I call it as I see it and how you treated me.

But you are the one coming into our local thread to "chime in" when all I did was give it up to Mademan and why I thought he deserved it and not you. Dude it's the Internet...get over it.

And stop throwing out misinformation. I PM'd All-Pro on TW for the photo (not knowing it was you), not emailed you. Still got the PM in case you need a memory refresher. Regardless I definitely appreciate the photo and thanked you for it at the time.

And for the record, there WAS some mutual respect, I'm the one that sent you the thread about Moab last year and offered you a cold one of you ever passed through Tahoe in your trailer thread. But come In here swinging your purse and throwing out the school girl comment because you conveniently had a different perspective of the facts . Yeah, fuck you SEAN.
