    You know back in the day, lots of corpses were mistakenly used as mannequins. Seems like one guys corpse from early 1900s was used as a Hollywood prop for like 40 years or something before anybody realized the mummified body was real.

    Show was pretty interesting, DC was creepy the whole time and often corny but the sections were pretty fascinating. I def don't remember the show talking about the corpse prop, but definitely had to do with death in the old west.

    when history channel actually had shows about history.... like modern marvels and many others. now they don’t have as much, i think they are having more history shows now than about a year or so ago. with stupid ass shows like pawn starts ect.


    actually they are talking about the 1906 SF earthquake now.

    There was a reason why they did those photos back then but can't remember. We talked about it in some of our art history classes during the onset of photography.
