Hey guys. I am new so if this is in the wrong place, my bad. I have had my truck for almost two years and recently I started looking into buying
4x Innovations tube doors (http://www.4xinnovations.com/Tube-Doors_c_30.html). I decided to see if I could take the doors off of it now to decide if it would be worth it to buy them or not and realized I had no idea what to do about the wiring. I took the door panel off had and couldn't decide if there was a harness to disconnect or if the wires would have to be pulled out of the door.
Does anyone have any ideas or taken their doors off before that can help me out?

SORRY DONT HAVE ANY PICS OR ANYTHING BUT YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO JUST UNPLUG THE HARNESS. WHETHER ITS A PLUG ON THE DOOR FRAME BY THE HINGES OR THE PLUG COULD BE BEHIND THE TRIM PANEL BY THE HINGES.

I've wanted to do this for a while as well, just been reluctant because everyone here seems to not like the idea. Also in Atlanta, so I'm interested to hear if you do pull it off and possibly see it in person.

Two plugs on each side, one for the mirrors and one for the door locks/windows. The harness is under the kick panels. Kind of a PITA to disconnect. They don't provide a grommet so I bought a pack online, 1.5" diameter. I also had to disconnect my door switch inside the access cab door or else the dome light would constantly stay on because it though the door was open.

Did you have to do anything to make the doors work on the access cab? the website says double cab only. unless those tube doors are your own creation

I'm pretty sure the access and double cab front doors are the same :notsure:
They fit mine with no issues, maybe he changed the design?

You can also just turn the dome light off. That's what I ended up doing. As far as the harness it's not to bad. Toyota made it where you can actually pull the harness plugs out of the hole a little bit and undo them.
