I'm wondering if you can pull an already deformed tailgate back into place with one of these? Mine probably has a 1" sag right in the center.

Anyway to pull at it with weight on each end?

Maybe... I'm thinking if it bent that easy to begin with it will bend back easy enough. I don't care if its perfect, just don't want it getting worse.

Received my Relentless tailgate reinforcement today. I got powdercoat aluminum, and can see how easy it is to get damaged in shipment, but glad to say Eric has got the packaging issue licked! Very excellent packaging, customized styrofoam corners and middle sections, sturdy box, and perfect product. I had wanted to go up there to pick it up in person, but couldn't go for several reasons. That's ok too, seeing as how I'd have had to drop the wife off at a casino! Thinking about all that money I saved gets me to thinking about more mods!
Oh... last I talked with Eric, he had 14 more of the same, ready to go. Get 'em while they last!
    Thanks Eric!

Thanks for the thumbs up! I would never have bought a first edition of any car model. Too many bugs to work out! I did have issues with the first dealer, and had to wait till Halloween for a factory build from a different dealer, and glad I did!

That's a good choice. I thought the steel would be too heavy, but the aluminum is hardly any difference in weight anyway, so I coulda got steel.

Thanks for the order, just ran out of steel so we'll be making more next week.

For those interested, we currently have 4 bare aluminum and I think 1 pc aluminum in stock at the moment!

What kind of screws are the people that are putting the plastic cover back on using? Will the stock ones work?

How many diamond plate orders would you need to make it worth your effort? Post #490 on the GB looks incredible. I would love to get a DP aluminum for my truck.
