Update: I ordered my new black SEMA wheels the other day with 265/70R17 Nitto Terra Grappler G2's! They are in and scheduled to be installed this Wednesday!!
Thanks everyone for voting and giving opinions.

Trying to decide if I change my wheels/tires which way I should go. Tried asking wife and she says wheels are wheels:D I currently have Sport wheels with 265/65R17 and have plans to lift the front 1.5" to 2". This will be primarily street driven with no offroading. My choices are as follows...

-Stay with Sport wheels and add 265/70R17's
-Purchase TRD Beadlock style in black and install 265/75R16's
-Purchase new TRD 4Runner SEMA wheel and add 265/70R17's(only 7" wide though:()

I've included a pics of my truck now and some other members trucks on here that I like. Opinions please!

Do you have 265/70R17's? Any rub?

I just don't know why they produce these in 7" I guess because 4Runners come with 17X7" wheels, but I would think special wheels would be wider. Seems like all Tacomas have 7.5" from factory

Yeah, 265/70/17. The only rub I get is on the drivers side, in reverse on the little piece that sticks down in the front. Could trim it, just haven't bothered. My truck is leveled 2" though.

Are spacers needed with stock wheels and 265/70R17?

My vote was for stock wheels save some money and get some good tires (Cooper ST Maxx) or your favorite...

I was originally set on the beadlock style, but am starting to like the black SEMA 4Runner style more and more.

I have 265/70R17's on my 2007 right now with factory 2007 17x7.5 wheels with no lift and the truck sets level and has a nice look to it. The truck is a TRD Sport. I have no rub issues at all and the truck rides nice on the road. I have noticed a lot of people say no rub issues and I have seen folks post up they do rub. I guess with all the different tire manufacturers with the same size tire specs (that are not the same) and wheel combos along with year of truck and the different packages/style of trucks determine if they will rub or not. I am no taco expert but all the info can be overwhelming from my point of view. My 265/70/17's are Hankook ATM's. I am fix'n to pull the trigger next week on Dick Cepek Gun Metal 7's for my truck, good luck on your search. I say with what you have listed go 265/70/17's on stock wheels they look nice on a stock truck in my eyes.

I liked all three but i would probably go with the stock sport wheels with bigger tires.
