    Not a chance.

But some manufacturers WILL! Case in Point:

Audi had a recall on the 03 RS6 due to the ENTIRE suspension system called DRC. The problem was that the struts had a tiny bushing/washer made of some type of metal that was critical to the system. The fluid in the cross-connected FL to RR (and FR to RL) was corrosive to that metal bushing/washer. So this $90k 450HP V8 Twin Turbo Uber Sedan was a death trap if/when the DRC system failed. Owners would shell out $4k to replace the suspension with coilovers, thereby scrapping the DRC.
So when the recall came out, Owners refused to return to an already failed system of the DRC. AoA came to the rescue and cut owners checks for the purchase price of the coilovers. I am sure there were some owners that has the J.D. at then end of there professional credentials...

I did some modding today with BoatRacer and we got my AP Expos in :kona:
I went back to the stock shackle holders because we figured that my shackle flip might give too much lift. For reference,

    • my saggy stock + TSB + AAL was just under 32" with stock shackle setup
    • Adding the shackle flip put me near 34.25". Note that the stock shackle was really too small, but I never got around to putting in the right size
    • AP Expo with stock shackle is currently around 33.25"

I'll have to measure more to see if I need to correct for rake.

As for ride, WOW what a difference.
I know there's a bit of blame for the incorrect shackles making it soft, but those weak springs were making my truck an ocean liner. Pulling a corner involved yelling "hard to starboard!" while the truck rocked over hard to the outside wheels.
Now, the front begins to rear up, but the back says, "No. That is silly business", and the truck pretty much pivots. I keep thinking I have the locker on and it feels that if I'm not careful with the gas, it's going to break free and I'm going to do some sweet drifting :burnrubber:
I can't believe how much traction I was losing with the old setup.

On another note, my OME struts are done :p The passenger rear is totally dead. Always a project...

    Great news my friend!! :woot:

Any chance you would know the collapsed and extended lengths for shocks I would need with AP expos?! I cannot find this info anywhere! Are you on stocks bumps? I'd like to keep the Same length bumpstop to allow for maximum up travel... Unless anyone has a reason why not to?

So Im looking to organize this years first snow run (hopefully weather cooperates). Are people available Saturday Jan 3rd? Head up North Mountain in Darrington (Unless someone knows a better road since I know its a longer drive for many people) which is about 15-17 miles long. Goes up to about 3800ft and to a Fire watch tower as you've seen in the last pics I posted. If we need to go higher to find snow there are other roads close in that area to do so.

Also No more than 5 trucks. Anymore and we won't make much progress with people getting stuck.

    Where: North Mountain, Darrington Wa
    When: Saturday Jan. 3rd
    Day run with possible bonfire?

    Going:
    1. Northwesttaco
    2. Jareds Toyota
    3.
    4.
    5.

I don't have the numbers yet, but I am going to try figuring that out once I have worn things in just a little. BoatRacer showed me that my OMEs are too short for full droop (I think it was at least 1/2").

I'm on stock bumps, this might need to change if at full stuff I can't get them to touch.

My biggest problem is that I don't have anything to test compressed suspension, my jack doesn't go very high and I don't know of any close by ramps.

Also, this (go down to where they talk about measuring)
