I did it again. Got tired of paying truck payments and gas and traded in for a 2015 Honda Accord Sport since I enjoyed my 2013 Sport so much.
Yeah, I ordered a recovery shackle on Tuesday and it ships from Missouri.

Even then it won't get here til Friday with UPS Ground delivery.

From IL? 4-5 days for shipping...

There's still a chance it'll get to your place on Friday. Plenty of times I've had stuff show up a day or two early.

That would be awesome, but you know what Murphy's Law says: Plan for the worst, and don't bother hoping for the best.

i had this exact tent for my F150. When it was set up it was really nice! Lots of room (you could almost stand inside) and it was nice being off the muddy rocky ground unlike a traditional tent! My only complaint is that it was pretty tricky to set up, especially by yourself, and taking down wasnt always super smooth. And keep in mind any thing that you haul in your truck bed when camping...must come out while the tent up. this was more of a pain in the rear than I thought!!! But it was a nice quality tent that fit and worked well.

I have always thought they look pretty neat on the box ...but what do you do with all your stuff you hauled camping that is in the box?? Also alot of times when we go camping we go exploring in our trucks up cut lines or any other cool places we find, so you have to take down the tent pack it up to go out for the day if you want to use your truck??? just some negitives I was thinking otherwise they look great but are they practical???:)

I carry everything in the bed in containers that are water-tight. They will be fine on the ground.

However - for everyone else, this is an excellent point!

For some one like me that would use it for light camping and cross-country travel - definitely.

For the true Tacoma adventurist - no way. They would need one that doesn't compromise their cargo area.

yeah, you have to take everything out unless you have a platform that everything fits under.

and im pretty sure you DONT want to be driving with the tent set up in the bed. Just take the poles down and you should be fine (don't need to wrap it back up)

I got one of these to act as a tent:

Bestop Supertop. It's a canvas topper that folds down to an open bed if needed. Takes 5 min to go from looking like that to off the truck, only need one person to take down too.

Ahh, sorry >< I quoted the wrong reply, haha. I meant this one.

Now that I look at it, I don't think it'll fit a short-bed. Dang, for the price I still want it...just gonna have to put it on one of our diesels. I hate taking our diesels out to the trails and dunes!

That tent is actually made for a full size truck. Notice how big it is on his long bed? It will be even worse on the short bed. :(
