OME advice

    I've read alot of threads, but I'm still uncertain about my plan, so I decided to risk the flamin and hope to hear some good advice.
    My truck gets about 1000 miles per month on the highway. I only occasionally take it offroad to play, so a couple of inches of lift adequately provides the clearance I want. So, first I put on Bilstein 5100's front and back with the front set at 1.75 with stock coils. Then I added an Icon 1.5 AAL on the rear, they seemed to settle some. Then I added a camper shell, and I'm not satisfied with my rear height. So I'm thinking about replacing my springs with OME Dakars. If I do the OME springs and remove a leaf, should that give me about the right amount(2 in?) of lift and allow my truckbed to carry about 1000 pounds without sagging?

    I carry a Leer 100RCC cap and about 200-250lbs of tools , so about 400-450lbd total and I am planning on adding the

    If you want to carry heavy loads but retain close to 2" lift I would suggest removing the top overload rather than the 3rd leaf

    Curious, why are you going with the AAL instead of new leaf packs.

    d29xl is an OME AAL that is designed to be added to the regular Dakar pack to add another leaf to the pack

    Just curious, does the
    $81 D29XL Leaf Spring
    D29XL add much to the lift? Or does it allow you to maintain consistent height when under heavier load? Am debating this or a shackle flip kit to get a little more from my Dakars.
