It depends on what size tool they wrapped the wire around. I use a syringe needle and do the 6 wraps, with both it reads at .18, .14 is the safe limit

First time posting here on this thread. So looking for a bit of help. My truck did not come with fog lights. Long story short they threw in the fog lights for free at the dealer but did not install them which was part of the deal. (weird but true) I have tried installing them but i end up with a brown end cap thing which i don't know where to put it or install it. Honestly i dont think its an oem fog light which is why I think I'm having a hard time installing. Does anyone know what this piece is or where in Houston i can take it and help me. Or if a fellow member wants to help ill pay $$$ lol .

A pic of the brown cap can help us figure out what you're talking about.

You may be prewired already. All I had to do with mine was plug in the lights, and add a switch. Check the light to see if it's OEM and if you had everything prewired

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/121903-oem-fog-light-install-prewired.html

    And welcome to our madness.

@greeneggsnspam thank you thank you. And will do. I'll take a picture once I get home this afternoon. But the kit comes with all these black (ground) wires and red , the two fog lights , and the button/switch for it. I got to the point where everything was connected except that brown one and did the battery testing and wouldn't get it to start or turn on. But pictures will help. So later today I'll post them up. Either way looking forward to this thread and all these Houston members

That's what I'm thinking too. Any local recommendations ya know of or any good ones. I'm trying to go for that yellow fog light look with hopefully the retrofit headlights..

I'm a fan of House of Pies on Kirby and Katz.

Les Givral's used to be good when I lived in that neighborhood. But when I went back recently, the service was horrible. Plus, my usual bartenders aren't there anymore. So no free beers while I wait on food.
