Back to the frugal mods, I'm picking up 3 ammo cans for $20 today. Hopefully I'll have time to spray and mount them to my bed this weekend

Not a big hole, just enough to get the wires through.

    Just a few LEDs...
Been planning to do something like this for some time now. Instead of drilling a hole in the door panel, I plan to bring the wire out between the door and the panel.

The same shit everyone else has.
Ive seen those when searching, but Im not a fan.

Thanks. I used those LED strips in my center console to light it as well as the bed bed.

Doing puddle lights off the side view mirror was my other idea, Im just worried about the light not being bright enough/too high off the ground on a lifted truck. I need to find some LEDs that would work them mess with them to see if theyll be bright enough.

Im also kickin around the idea of doing puddle lights off the mirror and door both. The mirror ones to light on unlock and the ones at the bottoms of the doors to shine on the ground when the door is opened.

The little button/bolt leds might have enough throw from the mirrors, the strips definitely don't. Plus the buttons would look nicer being little bumps rather that some ugly epoxy strip.

There is always this, you can customize them too.

    Love this thread.
I posted my version of A/C back seat platform thread about dog platforms.
I had some TREX remnants, bought some aluminum angle and flat stock.
Fast in and out, or just roll forward for acces to storage. Can still store in foot wells.

Im gonna do some messing around/brainstorming after work tomorrow and see what I came up with. I found trunk light lenses from a VW that sit pretty flush and may work
