Has anyone in PA had their Tacoma started on with the frame replacement yet? If so, when and how long did it take? At what dealership? I live near Philadelphia.

I live near Pittsburgh and was wondering the same thing. I got my notice to have the frame inspected but not sure what dealership I want to take it to.

I live in Pittsburgh, I took my to North Hills Toyota. They found a hole in my frame so they kept the truck and gave me a rental. I asked the process, they told me it takes some time to get the frame then they will start removing everything. He did tell me they will replace fuel & brake lines, all hardware. He said depending on when they get the frame in it would take 3-5 months.

I live near Philly... took mine to Conicelli in Springfield late November, they schedule a date to take the truck to their body shop in Conshohocken. It normally takes two days, but mine took three. After the CRC spray they give it a long outdoor rest to 'cure' but it was raining so it had to wait a bit.

Even when you get it back it's not fully cured. It smells like an industrial accident at a refinery. DO NOT EVEN think about parking it in an attached garage for AT LEAST a week. Maybe not till spring. Seriously, it's that bad.

I still get headaches if I'm in it too long and they did a pretty good job of containing the overspray. My wife still won't get within 20 feet of it. I saw pictures of one guys truck... while I'd appreciate the undercoat on the cab floor (makes the truck quieter) the burning smell from the muffler and exhaust pipes must be a biatch.

I have a 2005 Tacoma Sport Double Cab. I just started the process. Dealer ordered the frame. They made some loose statement about other things maybe needing to be replaced due to the frame repair, and some things they may recommend while everything was apart (because it would be easier).

What is the experience of others with 2nd generation 2005+ tacoma's - how much, if any about of pocket expense for "other" work. I feel anything relating the the frame replacement should be on Toyota to cover.

I'm hoping the same thing with my 2015, but there is not proof they are not using the same crappy frames.
