Dirt King is the way to go. I have their upper and lower set. Has been the best purchase I EVER made for the truck. 100% happy. Top tier customer satisfaction as well. They answered all my questions patiently and consistently. Dustin and Nick are stand up guys and do what they do well.

Hey Even flow, are you 4x4? If so what brand spindles are those? Those are my missing link to a tough as nails front end.

Yes, I have a 4x4 but I have a 6" DB lift so the spindles came with the DB. Definitely one of the positive aspects of a DB kit the spindles are pretty tough. I don't think anyone makes a fab'd spindle for 4x4 ? The only spindles on the market are for pre runners and they are a 4" lift spindle like the Camburg or the Maxtrac. Usually you do not get a fab'd spindle until you're looking at a LT race kit but those flip the uniball so they can't be used with anything but the matching " race " kit UCA's.

Aw man. That's too bad to hear. I have noticed most spindles are with LT kits for sure. I know Engage makes spindles for mid travel, but their products are shit from what I have seen so I think short of gussets, mid travel 4X4 dudes are SOL.

There is a company whom makes OEM style aftermarket spindles for 4x4s for our 2nd gens. I cannot recall the name off the top of my head but they look beefy as fuck.. and they are kind of prcey. Lemme look and I will chime back in.

I got allpro gussets added in. I chose all pro gussets, Because they allowed me to retain my sway bar if desired. Since We were taking the front suspension apart I figured it was the perfect time.

Here is a picture of the spindles in powdercoat.

Also they allow factory backspacing. I have 4.5" backspace or 19mm.

Still no luck on my end but SDHQ takes your OEM spindles and makes them beef as fuck

I have the all pro gussets and can't fit my stock wheels. Need at least 4.75'' of backspacing with these gussets.

No gripes using other manufacturers LCA's. Here is another pic, as requested. :)

I have always wondered whether or not I should just leave the spindle as is because it's better to bend that then the frame. That does look like a much better solution to our current shortage of 4X4 spindles being offered right now though. I should had asked them about the spindle stuff when I was ordering my CV boots. Damn.

I have the FJ cruiser bullet holes 19MM backspacing. They fit just fine.

Back spacing on factory Tacoma wheels is 5.25".

You said you have 4.5'' of back spacing so my comment about needing 4.75'' of backspacing or less is right.

19mm equals .75'', I think you were meaning offset there.

Just don't want people to think the allpro spindle gussets work with their factory Tacoma wheels then get left stranded without front wheels after they weld up the gussets.

Yeah I see what you mean. My fj 8hope wheels are about a quarter inch from the spindle. I run 255/85/r17 and I have run 255/70/17 too with no issues.

Any long term issues with the BDS and Dirt King Combo.

I'm using the RC Knuckles, and they Are 3.5" taller than the factory Knuckles. Are you long travel or standard length. I'm assuming custom coilovers.

Pics or a build thread you could point me to, thanks.
