Badge removal

Is ther a sticky somewhere on a procedure to properly remove badges and trd decals on here somewhere? I did a search but it didnt bring up much.

Blow dryer, fishing line and patience!!!!

 

I just ripped mine off.....came right off! (i'm am however talking about the dealer badge)

 

And you can use goof off to get the sticky stuff off your truck when done.

 

Oh good idea!!! Oh and I also used goo gone to get off all the excess from the rear TRD side panel decals.

 

i used fishing line but had to use 30 lbs test to keep it from breaking used a sawing mode

Only problem with the "ripping it off" with alot of badges is that they will chip the paint with the corners and edges.


Concur with the fishing line and hairdryer trick. Chris's lube thing probably helps too...

 

Braided fishing line works very well if you have some on hand. If not don't go purchasing it just for this because it's much more expensive then regular monofillament.
