What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

My favorite mods are the cheapest and most important, IMO.
Seat covers
Weathertech or Husky floor liner
Emblems (Whatever you want)
Tint
LED interior light swap

 

Ordered All Pro Sliders. Hopefully here Friday. Prime and bed liner this weekend. Having them welded on next week.

 

Window tint and remove the chrome side steps

 

Power steering fluid flush done.

 

Tint does make a big difference

 

Got my tires rebalanced and a front end alignment.

They said all four tires were out by around an ounce each. Alignment wasn't too bad. I don't have the numbers right here.

This totally solved the little vibration I was getting at around 35-40 mph. I've been feeling it since I rotated my tires last week and it wasn't going away so.... glad it was a simple fix.

A local shop did the alignment for $70 with a 6 month warranty and balanced for $10 a tire. Well worth it for a smooth, no-vibe ride again.

I love 303. My plastidipped grill surround was looking grungy and faded so I decided to hit it with some 303 while I was putting it on other stuff.
It worked great. Cleaned the mud stains and darkened it up like new again.



Put it on the rear bumper plastic pieces and the plastidip back there too since the grill came out so good.

Plastidip those chrome side steps if you want to keep them. I'm not a chrome fan though. To each their own.
A cheap mod that I love is the addition of a bottle opener in the bed of the truck.

I don't even think about mine anymore until I remember how much I used to have to duck down to see under the mirror. Definitely one of the best mods for the price.

Agreed! Best small mod I've done for sure.

 

All I did was flip my mirror upside down and it got it out of the way more than enough. Since I don't have a back up camera screen in mine, this wasn't a big deal to flip over

 

It really helped me, especially now that I have a 10.1" DVD screen up front

i agree, mirror riser is the best mod for the money. I bought mine from techdeck and theirs come with a ram ball included if you wanted to attach accessories. Techdeck is also another mod that was great.

 

Yep. Last week of march. Hopefully I'll have a little free time. Go drive my truck around that miserable city down south... haha
