Sway Bar Disconnects

I know some will say just get rid of the sway bar altogether, but I am looking to see if anyone knows where I can get some sway bar disconnects for a 2013 4x4 DCSB.

I pulled mine a couple weeks ago. I keep forgetting it's gone. Truck drives exactly the same and the suspension characteristics are improved.

 

Don't exist is the answer to your question.

Now that that is out of the way, be prepared for ten pages of replies.

Five pages of which will be from people who have removed their bar and say it is just fine despite not actually having had to execute any sort of emergency steering at speed that would demonstrate the problem of removing it. But that's OK, they know they are driving a truck and are "careful" when driving. And they prominently display a sign that says "I am driving a truck, so don't suddenly get in my way or I'll roll this thing" and amazingly all the other drivers when they read the sign suddenly decide not to do stupid things around their truck. Since most people only experience a near roll over situation once in their life, if ever, most all of these folks will be just fine. Just like most people texting while driving will be just fine too.

The other five pages will be from people saying your truck will suddenly end over when you make a left turn. Furthermore if you are ever in an accident they will claim your insurance will be invalid and you'll be liable for all damages within a 10 mile radius of your truck.

None of these will get to the heart of your question though, which is that despite this model existing for a decade there are no quick disconnects available for it.

That's a pretty broad assumption to make. I've not had a sway bar on anything I've owned for the past 15 years and I like it that way. Plenty of times executing "emergency steering". Maybe I'm just lucky.

 

No need for a moose. Washington State law requires all vehicles to meet this standard;

"A motor vehicle must be capable of stable, controlled operation while traversing a slalom-type path passing alternately to the left and right of at least four cones or markers arranged in a straight line and spaced sixty feet apart at a minimum speed of 25 mph."

Pretty easy test to set up.
