Ok Gents and Ladies....let's see if we can get this thread rolling and lasting. So my idea for this thread is just a place for you all to share with us what you did with truck over the weekend. Whether it was a simple mod., oil change, camping, ANYTHING! It doesn't matter, take a photo(s) and share with the Tacoma World family. I will have my own photos up soon enough! Thanks and I hope everyone is excited to share! Let's get it started!:D;):burnrubber::oldglory::mudding::worthless:

No one, and it was trending on the main page, and people need to learn to f**ing read before they post, seriously and someone has to be the guy to tell them. Point being its an exact copycat of a current ongoing thread that is one of the most visited/updated threads on the 2nd gen page everyday.

Wont argue with that either. Apparently its not ok to point out the obvious to people such as searching or reading a bit before you post. Not being a dick just calling it like it is.

    +1, andlours...

I read the title of this thread and expected to see posts like "...went hunting..." with pics of hogs in the back of a mud covered Tacoma.

The "to" thread is where I expect to see "did the ND4 foglight mod...".

This thread is fine IMO. As stated above: what you did "to" and "with" your Taco are different. Besides the thread title applies only to the weekend where the other one is any day.

Whether this thread lives or dies I'm going to agree with others that it is not the same as the "what have you done to your tacoma today" thread. Some people need to learn to read and distinguish the slight differences between words like "to" and "with".

Point taken. It also said camping or anything at all, stuff the other thread doesn't really cover.

    I went to work.

I leave for work before 5am and do a good bit of back roads.
This morning I wound up using 4WD low to bull through about a half dozen drifts almost as high as my hood.

It was freaking whiteout this am. I was only going about 15 anyway and suddenly I was just stopped.
Backed up, took a quick peek, no apparent damage.

So I hopped back it, said a few quick Our Fathers & Hail Marys, dropped the Taco in 4WD Lo and let the studded Winterforces walk me through.

Did the last 3-4 miles to work in 4WD Lo.

Made it to work in time to answer about 100 phone calls from coworkers who "can't make it in.":mad::sadviolin:

I've never taken the hogs with me on a hunting trip. How do you get them to jump in the bed? :D

Like Nealkas I experienced white outs.

While on the way to do food shopping the wife and I came around a corner high up in farm country to be completely blind
Hit the brakes and waited a moment for vision to reappear . Then we see a car stuck in a drift in the opposite (opposing lane) .... This car was in an extremely dangerous place as there is a dip and curve in the road that makes it hard to see the car until your on top of it.
I turned around to see if there were occupants that needed help ... Sure enough their was a young teenage girl wearing braces and scared in there. She said she called her parents ( what were they gonna do ?) she was in bad. I got in her car and tried my tricks of getting un-stuck ... It was like her car wasn't even running.
I decided it was time to use the winch , first real test after installing it 9 months ago. ( Super-Wich 9500)
I was extremely worried that someone comming my way was going to slam into me:confused:
The site is @ 5 miles from a popular ski resort used by many NJ , NY , and Pa skiers.
A couple cars lined up behind me and I asked more than 1 driver to stay back in the clear with 4 ways on to warn oncoming traffic of the up-comming hazard.
To my surprise and dismay , these drivers would stay 2-3 minutes and while I was distracted they would drive off !!
It's 4 degrees out , 30+ mph winds , making the windchill -20* or more.
My recovery gear is in my covered bed , I go to drop the tailgate and find my Pop N Lock is inoperative and won't open ! I crawl in the back flap , get what I need and head up to her car .... Hard time finding a recovery point on an infinity buried in snow !
I was soooo cold ( and covered head to toe in snow blow) that I had to get into my heated cab to recovr ... The wife had a towel to wipe my frozen face with.
All the while Dumb Asses are going by in the wrong lane in a white-out !! Near collisions .... I'm stressed ... Call 911 for back up ... Flashing Lights.
Next I have to unspool the frozen winch .... Tough going ... More warm up .... Next my hands are so cold ( in gloves) that I can't get her hooked , but perserverence prevailed.
I'll bet I gave the Finger blessing to at least 10 Douche Bags that felt it was more important to get on a ski slope and freeze than to give a helping hand for 20 minutes or so. After 25 min. The police show up .... He don't help either ...sat in his suv with the lights on and watched numerous accidents almost occur !!
I got her out ... Put such a pull on her that it was dragging my truck too ... Had to get behind the wheel and use the gears and emergency brake to stop the slide. Once freed ... She starts to pull away while still hooked up  !!
I'm blowing the shit out of my horn !!! Wow !! Not even a blonde !!
In the end , the cop left , the girl left with a quick thank you sir , and I was left in the road , un-protected and having to re-spool my line all alone !!
I was happy to help , and glad I did ....
I discovered 2 things ... 3 .... People are downright selfish, un caring , Assholes.
    Specially from Jerzy.
    Pop n Locks suck.
Have your recovery gear ready .... Before hand :)
Sorry to offend the good people from Jerzy , but the majority of DB's today had that plate on.
1 .... Yes one guy from NYC stopped and asked to give me help .... I shook his hand in congratulations for being a good human being ! He was maybe 25-28 years old , spoke broken English , so when I asked him where he was from he said Poland ..... Imagine that .... Stupid , Arrogant Americans ! Wake Up !!
That's what I did today .... and went food shopping ... Took a 420 break when I got home :)
