It'll be a couple of weeks. I'm traveling for work back to back weeks.

 

Not yet skiing for her will be next year. Beer drinking, well that's years out.

Mine is mounted on the back of my center console. It used to work fine. Then one day I could hear fine but my voice broadcasted inaudibly. And then one day nothing. I took it to a guy in Denver and had him boost it/look at it but it still doesn't work. Checked it with an swr meter and it's fine. So I don't know.

My dads is mounted in the ash tray and we can hear people fine but can't broadcast out. We do have two new ones that will hopefully work this time around.

 

I am interested in this but need to get Armor and Lift installed before I really look into it.

 

Now your speaking my language. Nothing wrong with a good bottled root beer.

A setup with a mag mount antenna, power and remote mic is <$100
Test for license is ~$15

So, not a major undertaking that you need to put off until later.
Of course, I'm being a bit hypocritical as I still need to test for mine.

rocky mountain root beers are pretty good, and they make a birch beer which is tasty for you east coasters that know what birch beer is

I have heard great things about both BudBilt and SkidRow. I installed a set of BudBilt skids on someone else's truck and the quality and fit was great.

These ones interest me at the price point though

I haven't had root beer in years. I just said the first one I could think of. if I'm going to drink something that's gonna make me fat it's going to be beer.
