    Hello, this is my first post so I hope its not a silly question thats been answered a thousand times... But I have a '12 2.7 liter access cab and I need to do the aal. For my work I have to keep all of my tools in my bed pretty much permantly. Its not over the limit as far as weight goes but I have noticed the rear definetly sags lower than the front.
    Anyways can you guys recommend a good aal kit? Toyotec? Rough Country? I think it needs to go up about 1.5" to 2". And also will this void my 100,000 mi bumper to bumper warranty? (truck has 45k on it now).
    Ultimately I would love to lift the front about an inch or so and then the rear up 2" to 3" to level it. Looks like 5100's in the front but the back?
    Sorry if this is in the wrong thread. I'm not sure where to start.

    Welcome to TW! It wont void any warranty, and the Toytec AAL or Icon 3 leaf AAL should do you well.

    Thanks for the fast reply! I just read though a sticky that mentions the warranty stuff. Next I have to post a reply in the clutch problem section. Mine went out at 41k, and they replaced it fully under warranty!

    I'll be installing an AAL in the very near future and had a question about shocks. With the expectation being between 1.5 - 2" of lift, which 5100s would I go with? Limited suppliers in Canada and this is where I'm looking, http://www.bilsteincanada.com/index.php?cPath=306_3992_4035_12882

    First set listed says for 0 - 1" of lift and the other says 3 - 4" of rear lift. What about the 1.5 - 3" range?

    If there's other part numbers out there that aren't available on this site please let me know and I'll try to find them somewhere in the great white north!

    Ok so I have decided on going up 3" in the rear. I was thinking a 2" aal kit and a 1" lift block. Any problems with going this route? Keep in mind my rig is currently a mall crawler. I just have 2-300 lbs of tools in the back. And whats the difference between the single add a leaf and the progressive 3 leaf pack?

    Ok thanks JonnyBb! I checked it out. If I understand it correctly the progressive 3 leaf is more of a softer ride, with the single add a leaf being alot stiffer. Now for my application having a few hundred pounds of tools with me permantly would it be better to us the single stiffer aal? My theory being that having so much weight in my truck it would be less likely to sag back down cancelling the 2" of lift it would provide? I suppose if it does sag back down an inch or so I can just add 1" blocks lift blocks? Is that going to cause too much axle wrap? Keep in mind I'm still paying for my Taco so I am not beating on it off road yet..

    Did the Icon aal last night on my 15' DC TRD OR, didn't quite end up at 1.5" of lift, but the ride is a ton better!! Thinking about putting the overload leaf back in. In theory , this raises me another 1/2" or so correct? Any issues with this?

    Yes. How ever thick the leaf is is how much more lift you will get.

    You got 1.5" without the OL?
    I was hoping to get an even 1" without the OL.

    I wonder if the Wheelers Progressive AAL would be a better fit...

    Heres a silly question.. My rear is about 1 inch lower than stock because of the weight of the tools in the back. If I put the Wheelers 2" AAL in will it go up 2" or will it be less because of the weight? I am ordering the AAL tonight and I am thinking about getting 1" spacer blocks if it doesn't get the full 2 inches. Maybe with the OL in it will get more.
