Found some pics of the tires on stock suspension.

You can see how much space there is between the tire and the front flap.

Compared to the gap of the OEM 245 Dunlop tires

I have these same tires on my 1st gen in a 31.50 and love them! Quiet, smooth and do great offroad. Look like they'll get 45-50K easily.

COOPER's  Great mid aggressive tire and quite on the highway.

I saw Cooper Discoverer ATPs (I think it was) at the tire shop the other day, they looked like a nice option also.

I'm leaning towards the C-rated 6 ply version of a tire if I can get it. Sometimes I have my truck pretty loaded down with cargo + I tow a trailer loaded with firewood every year. Do the C-rated 6 ply tires make our lighter weight trucks bounce around on the road too much?

Doubt it. I'd think a D of E is overkill for most. If I went LT, C is what I would get.

I am definitely getting Dynapro ATM's very soon. My decision now is 265/70/16 or 265/75/16. I will probably not be lifting the truck while these tires are on so I am wrestling with the choice. I am a minority around here since I want and need to keep mud flaps on my truck. My paint is valuable to me!

    Lots of tires don't give you a C , D , E choice especially in certain sizes

I would have to agree. I don't think I need a 10-ply tire or my tacoma. Some others for sure need that burly of rubber, but not me. I was hoping c-rated 6-ply would be strong but not as heavy & bulky as d-rated.

I've noticed this. Looks like c-rated are pretty rare in the 265/75-16 size I'm planning for.

Today I'm leaning 265/75! Not only are they bigger, they are also cheaper! Decisions, decisions.

They fit great. I think you'd be happier with the 75, too.

Thanks for your time! You are probably right. They are going on these wheels by the way.........

I hope the slightly less back spacing doesn't push them out far enough to rub the flaps. hmmmmm.....
