Have you had any issues with your tent on your canopy? I have the CVT Mt. Rainier on my snugtop and people keep telling me that I'm going to ruin my snugtop.

I haven't had any issues at all yet but I haven't tried with the new window boxes yet.

    Nice truck btw.

I'm wanting to add power inside of my topper for overnight/ weekend camping trips. I could use some help trying to figure out how and were to mount a second battery, ideas on how to keep it charged(alternator, solar, etc??) Is there any threads that show other peoples builds? I would like to run some low amp led lights, have power for a laptop, charge a phone, run a small fan in summer and maybe a small electric heater during the winter. Any help would be greatly appreciated

ATO makes a dual battery tray for the 2nd gen that holds two yellow top Optima Batteries in the stock location.

For the wiring, here's a complete kit:

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/ma...-electrical-system-upgrade-now-available.html

Anything else is just running lines from a fusebox with this setup.

Picked this ARE Z series for 400 bucks last week. What roof rack do you guys recommend. I want something level for my canoe. Got a quote from a few places and im looking at least 450 to get this painted. what a bummer.

Have you thought of just painting it with bed liner? Black might look good for less money. Not sure on roof rack, mine came with it

I used Monstaliner bedliner to bed line mine in light grey. They have like 25 colors now. It isn't a perfect match, but it cost me about $180 and I really like the way it came out.. I'll post a pic with it on the truck later today.

Just picked up my Leer 100XL the other day. No pics yet, it has been raining and/or snowing every day since and I just haven't gotten around to it.

Got the carpeted headliner, prop switch lights, fold down sliding front window and Thule rack rails. So far, I am very happy with the quality and fit and finish, but time will tell. Paid around $2100 all up.

I would have loved to have gone with Snugtop, but the closest dealer is about 1000 miles away.

I will snap some pics and share them as soon as it clears up and I get a chance to wash all of the great road salt, mud and grime off it.
